Historia
Once a scrap-wrangling nobody from Phoenix, Arizona, Juliet Bianchi's life was forever changed when fate handed her a hyper-advanced AI chip that launched her into the arena of high-powered, high-stakes operators. To her surprise—and everyone else's—she had a natural talent for cybernetic-enhanced mayhem and mercenary work. Now, that work will take Juliet where she's always wanted to go: off world. Unfortunately, the reason is that her faithful friend Honey and a child prodigy she was caring for have been kidnapped.

Not as good as the previous two
Revisado: 02-24-25
unlike the previous books, this one just goes on side quests that don't add much to the story. the author tried to be more descriptive with this story but similarly, it didn't add much.
the one annoying thing about it was how she kept using word plastine. she found a new word and she wanted to use it every 5 minutes. it got old very quick

not what I expected
Revisado: 12-01-24
although kind of interesting, the information seemed superficial. instead of asking questions at the end of each section, the author should have explained what had just happened. it would have made it clearer about the psychopathic characteristics that had been used in the scene.

too slow pace and not much going on
Revisado: 11-28-24
the premise is good but the story is really slow and uninteresting. I couldn't even finish the book. then there's the side storyline about the spider. I assume it ties to the rest of the story but it seems unrelated and unnecessary.

Historia
Central banking is magic. With a few words, the Fed can lift the stock market out of desperation and catapult it towards euphoric highs. With a few keystrokes, the Fed can conjure up trillions of dollars and fund virtually unlimited Federal spending. And with a few poor decisions, the Fed can plunge the entire world into a recession. The Federal Reserve is one of the most powerful institutions in the world, and also one of the most difficult to understand.

Revisado: 05-19-24
good content, but it's all over the place. some chapters are very interesting but seem to deviate from the main topic. although they tie loosely, they were properly tied into the rest of the book as it pertains to central banking

Historia
This classic expose of the Fed has become one of the best-selling books in its category of all time. Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magician's secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You'll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story - which it really is, but it's all true.

Lost interest after ch6
Revisado: 01-23-23
Although the book started being interesting, and the overall topics are still interesting, the author goes all over the place. The book is supposed to be about The Fed, not the full history of all central banks around the world and other financial institutions. Maybe it all ties in at some point. But I had to stop given that at some point it deviates from the American financial system and goes into general poverty and wealth disparities everywhere.
I think the whole story of how the fed was created is only ch1, and that's all.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

What a great story and the narrator was just so good. Great voice acting performance. It was definitely one of those books that just can't have enough of. I would love for a sequel to be made

Historia
As AI and robotics eliminate jobs across the spectrum, governmental revenues will plummet while the debt increases dramatically. This crisis of limited resources on all levels - underfunded or nonexistent pensions, health problems, lack of savings, and job destruction without comparable job creation - will drive many into homelessness and produce a dramatic rise in violence as we fight over shrinking resources.

It’s ok
Revisado: 07-09-22
Although the material is interesting, it’s highly superficial and doesn’t touch on the actual applications and examples of how IA is really impacting society.
The second half is the book was mostly about socioeconomic topics and barely even touched on AI. It’s like the author wanted the book to be long but didn’t have the content so he went on a tangent

Hardcore Self Help: F--k Anxiety is for those of us who find the prospect of reading a traditional self-help book to be way too boring. How are you supposed to make positive changes in your life if the book itself feels like a chore? This audiobook is definitely not a chore.
In Hardcore Self Help: F--k Anxiety, I talk to you like a friend. There is lots of swearing and humor but also loads of helpful and actionable information.

not many tips on how to deliver a good story
Revisado: 08-22-19
The author spends most of the book telling stories about himself, which in my opinion are not the greatest stories. he gives some tips on how to tell a good story, but that's just a very small part of the content. I stopped listening around chapter seven as I didn't find the content to be that great
