This was a sickeningly sweet book. Sweet enough to give you a tooth ache. But also spicy enough to melt the thickest of panties. Alex/Tink is my favorite character so far in the Elite 8 series. While Malibu's book is still my favorite book in the series, Tink is impossible not to love. In every scene, in every book he is in, Tink steals the show.

Rowan is the definition of a marshmallow teddy bear. He is soft, sweet, kind, loving, considerate and forgiving. His biggest issue is a lack of self esteem. But his love interests help him with his self worth as the book goes on.

Finn is your atypical hot hipster bear. Cool hair cut, tattoos, multiple dirty piercings and a job in IT. He's had a major crush on his neighbor Rowan for months but was too afraid to say or doing anything about it. Until wrecking ball Alex comes along to lend him a helping heart-on 😉.

In a very short time both Alex and Finn start dating Rowan together which eventually leads to a three way love afair for the ages. Through the course of the book nearly all of our Elite 8 Studios friends make an appearance and help contribute to the hilarious dialogue. But we also get to see Alex in his artistic element with college friends and Rowans auto shop buddies.

I highly recommend this on both book & audio but highly suggest reading the series in order for the best experience. It will also help you make sense of How to Accidentally Fall in Love if you read the Elite 8 Studios books first. I'm putting Tink at both #2/#3, tying with Dix, on my favorites list of the series so far with Malibu taking 1st place. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

This was such a great audiobook. It was my first book in the series and by Lane Hayes. It didn't follow the enemies to Lovers plot I thought it would. It surprised me in a pleasant way. Their relationship was sweet and flowed gracefully with little to no angst. I'm definitely going to have to read the rest of the books in the series now.

The narration was top notch. I always like listening to Nick J. Russo and he did a fantastic job on this book. It was short and sweet and could easily be listened to in one day. Especially if you have a long commute.

Excellent Irish Accent

The story itself was excellent. I read the first book in the series and liked it but didn't love it. This second book in the series was everything I was hoping the first would have been. It's silly, steamy and sweet. The plot is well balanced. The characters all grow at a realistic pace based on reasonable reactions to the books events. I didn't have to scream "your being an idiot, no one in real life reacts that way" even once. Which is a surprisingly rare thing to find when reading Romantasy. I loved all the characters and having it set mainly in Ireland was a treat. Especially since the book came out in time to be read the week of St. Patrick's Day. The only thing I would change is that I wish the writer would switch to writing in a dual pov instead.

As for the narration, I don't believe I've read much narrated by Dylan Reilly Fitzpatrickbefore. But after hearing his proformance and Irish accent I'd love to read more audiobooks narrated by him in the future.

For a full review of the book itself I have a review posted on Amazon and Goodreads. To summarize, I freaking loved it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ overall

Now on to the review of the audiobook and narrator. Wow! Just wow Mister Jake Bordeaux. That was amazing. The range of different voices he did were just fantastic. The spicy scenes where hot and not at all awkward or cringe like they can be with certain narrators. And the emotions where always portrayed perfectly. Most importantly his narration does what I wish all audiobooks did. It made the written words make more sense. There were a couple times in the book where I couldn't tell who was supposed to be speaking or what their reaction was supposed to be. But upon listening to the audiobook, it was clarified. I love that in a good audiobook!

Ridiculous In A Funny Way

This book was absolutely ridiculous and over the top. It had some extra cringe, embarrassing moments but it was still very cute and funny. I feel like it would have been gross if the personalities were switched between TA and Professor. But with Everly being so confident and pushy (borderline sexual harassment level) and Silas being so insecure and shy it worked out well.

The only thing is I think the narrator took the ridiculousness of the book as permission to be too cheesy with the voices. Unprofessional even. It made listening to this book so hard. And it didn't have to be that way, I've heard him narrate before without issue, he is actually really good. On second thought maybe whomever was directing him messed up and mad him sound so unhinged??? IDK but not his best work
work, please don't hold this book against him.

some of the very best narration I've ever heard from both narrators. it was a wonderful story. It had more "adult" scenes then I prefer in one book but it didn't make the story worse so no biggie

I've read this book years ago before listening to it. Its amazing writing and a lovely story. The male narrator is acceptable. The big however is the female narrator. She does good with female voices. But she cannot do male tones at all. Anytime she says a male characters line its like nails on a chalkboard.
