Historia
The history of colonial America is a story of extraordinary scope, with Europeans, Africans, and the native peoples of North America interacting in a drama of settlement and conflict that lasted nearly three centuries. Go back in time and relive this epic story in 36 spellbinding lectures. While concentrating on British North America, Professor Allison also covers developments in the colonial outposts of Spain, France, the Netherlands, and the all-important British possessions in the West Indies, which were the source of the most lucrative crop in the New World - sugar - and the reason for the enormous growth in the slave trade.

Historia
Between 1861 and 1865, the clash of the greatest armies the Western hemisphere had ever seen turned small towns, little-known streams, and obscure meadows in the American countryside into names we will always remember. In those great battles, those streams ran red with blood-and the United States was truly born.

Epic overview of key piece of history
Revisado: 09-25-20
The American Civil War, one of the most pivotal moments in American history and yet one I never studied in detail until this course. Dr. Gallagher provides a superb and detailed look at the causes and key events in the Civil War, including the battles, politics, and homefront happenings that forever changed the United States. While the good professor could benefit from a sneeze button on his microphone, the presentation is good and this 48-part course always kept my interest. One of Audible's best from "The Great Courses"

I've been looking for an informative survey on microeconomics and macroeconomics and this was just what I got. The lecturer explains things well in a well-organized course. He also explains complex terms. Only drawback is that the course seems about 14 years old.
