It amazed me how this talented author could drop in on such an everyday thought of missing things! It just opens up the doors wildly to one's imagination, delighting the reader in all stages of dress..right down to the distinctive thread! Even tho the story is meant for younger readers, I couldn't help myself from returning to hear about the next escapades of the totally made up..or are they really??..levels of lost things! J K Rowling doesn't disappoint!

Unexpected!!

I was totally unaware of how the opening of this book came at me! It knocked me for a loop! Having read many of Matthew Kelly's books in the past & noting that he was not narrating this one should have given me a clue..but I was still flabergasted! I'll leave it at that so as not to have to leave a SPOILER ALERT!..however; the turnaround was very clever & true to form of the author. Bravo!

The author wrote about her subject matter so appropriately & with such a kindness in her delivery towards the listeners. She was firm with her audience..yet freely shared moments of her personal experiences to put the reader at ease lest they felt awkward about the advice given might put them in a prudish position. She seems to be a very humble & forthright individual. I especially enjoyed the scriptural references & have even recommended this book to one of my sisters. as we grew up going to a Catholic elementary school & remember the nuns & priests teaching us such fundamental prayers & behavior attitudes for our future development. This book brought back so many memories. God bless to both the author & the sweet-voiced narrator! Amen!

Remarkable!

Even tho the story & narration is intended for a young age group, Meg still did a great job of keeping each Saint's bio fresh..esp. ending with the Blessed Virgin Mary's own bio! Nice touch! Still amazing as to the obscure names that were brought up..& I listen to the Saint of the Day every day! Smh..'job well done my good & faithful servant!'

Narration the best!

I almost felt guilty laughing at such Sacred material! Yet, I'm sure author Thigpen wrote the text for this book to correlate with comic O'Brien's timing! All kidding aside, it was a pleasure to hear the true stories of my beloved saints come to life with the help of the voice of the beleaguered devil..all throughout the generations! I've been utilizing my Holy Water & blessing myself as often as I can since hearing this awesome book. I would definitely recommend it to my family & friends..Catholic or not! Amen! 🙏

A Shrewd Kinda Listen!

James Patterson on James Patterson was really quite clever..once you got used to his style & attitude about himself, his stories were rather ribald & impressive! A very humble man throughout & deeply loving. I'd definitely recommend it! Good job, Jimmy James! 😉

Captivating!

This story grabbed me from the very beginning & it held my interest thru to the surprising end. I agree with the author on how important it is to seek out the 'sheroes' of our times & of those gone by. Excellent!
