The presentation(narration)was horrible....The male narrator brings nothing....while the female brings too much...couldn't get into the story

The chemistry between Cass and Lady Death herself can only be described as Delicious.My Favorite book thus far. Sarah as truly out did herself with this one..Beautifully written.

The narration 😍😍😍

I like the story overall.One of the most important things with audio books,which in my opinion is a crucial part,is the performance of the narrator.He did amazing job of capturing the essence of the characters.When I heard the "shadow" creatures voice for the first time, I was like whoa where did that come from all of a sudden..lol. This was throughly enjoyed 😉

The characterizations or lack there of, was all over the place. It was really a struggle to get into because of all the discrepancies within the plot. The characters were all contradictions of themselves.The dialogue and interactions between the captors and captive was ridiculous an unrealistic. Also where is this proverbial line the brothers say they have now crossed at the beginning of the story?I mean after describing yourselves as murderers,is kidnapping and rape far off?This story has potential but the execution is absolutely absurd.

There is no male narrator fyi...

Ummm where exactly is the male narrator in this book.It clearly states two narrators.Only one is not a problem of course.Just wasn't expecting for her to voice both parts. Couldn't really get into the story because if it.The reviews were very misleading..saying how both narrators did a good job..when it is clearly one woman doing both parts...Its not the first time a woman as done both parts..and it won't be the last,but how bizarre to list a male narrator when there is none...horrible

It was ok but...

The story was oooook... but some parts were overacted by the male narrator.The constant reminder of the main character needing to say over and over again practically shouting that he was the prince of hell was a bit irritating.All the supernatural creatures were too human especially "Stone"...He was too broken and lacked confidence.Just a weak character in general not in stature but in substance..the constant need for approval and acceptance was just wayyyyyy too human.B- for effort I guess...but maybe if the male narrator Didn't read ever word like a scene from lord of the rings..I might of been able to get through the entire book...wanted to like it though.

This was one of the longest series I've listened to on here at one time to date,but so worth it.The unadulterated style in which the author chose to write was absolute blessing to my hears.Wish other writers would follow suit.She allowed the characters to feel however the hell they wanted to unapologetically;their actions as well.Lemons for miles....but Wowzer!!!What a ride.A+++++
