Historia
A young royal from the far north, is sent south for a political marriage in an empire reminiscent of imperial China. Her brothers are dead, her armies and their war mammoths long defeated and caged behind their borders. Alone and sometimes reviled, she must choose her allies carefully. Rabbit, a handmaiden, sold by her parents to the palace for the lack of five baskets of dye, befriends the emperor's lonely new wife and gets more than she bargained for.

Incredible Voice, Surprising Story
Revisado: 09-25-24
Did not expect the story, at all. I had no information going to it, but ended up liking it all the better for it. The narrator was mellow, well-paced and with gorgeous diction. Overall a wonderful time.

Historia
I'm young, carefree, and my job as the assistant to Holt, manager and owner of the Goliaths of Wrestling, means I'm surrounded by half-naked beefcake wrestlers all day. Of course, I'm going to be interested in… getting to know them all better. It would be, like, illegal for me not to lust after them all, right? There's just one hurdle I have to get over first before I can… get to know the wrestlers in the way I want. And that hurdle makes me really, really freaking nervous.

All the Pining
Revisado: 08-20-24
This was an absolutely marvelous listen. Larkin was so lovable and dorky, but Seb? He was the pining piner who pines, and I felt so much his pain every time he denied himself! The story was so good, and the narration topnotch. Can’t wait for book 3!

Historia
I needed to get the hell out of Big City. The only reason I'm living in this American wasteland is because my mother insisted I reconcile with my estranged father. That the idea came to her while drunk on French bubbly should have been my sign to stay right where I belonged. Anywhere but here. Certainly somewhere more fabulous. When an international job opportunity arises, I jump on board. It's just a bonus that I'll be traveling with the epitome of tall, dark, and handsome. Make that muscular, morally gray, and hopefully, my next conquest.

All the shivers
Revisado: 07-01-24
I was 1000% satisfied with this read, it was freaking fantastic! Simon and Wolfy are the most perfectly suited villainous pair ever and their journey to find each other - and themselves - was extremely satisfying. The narration was so delicious to my ears, and the level of enthusiasm and dedication from the narrators was clearly felt and utterly smile-inducing. Perfection.

Historia
Big City is supposedly the place where dreams come true. As someone just trying to live my life, I can tell you it’s more like a recurring nightmare where dreams get c*ckblocked at every turn. Especially if you’re a supervillain like me. The irony is that I have zero powers, despite coming from purebred villain stock, but try telling that to Big City’s beloved hero, Captain Masculine.

Music to my ears

Awesome book. Read it on kindle first, and I liked it so much i bought the physical copy and the audible too! The entire villainous series is so good, and the audio books are super enjoyable.
