Historia
The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is a fairly typical all-girls school - that is, it would be if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE and the latest in chemical warfare in science, and students received extra credit for breaking CIA codes in computer class. The Gallagher Academy might claim to be a school for geniuses, but it's really a school for spies.

Good book, narrator eh...
Revisado: 02-16-22
So i read this book as a young teen and i absolutely loved the entire series! i have the whole series on my bookshelf but just for fun i decided to listen to the audio book. I still love the series but idk the narrator just wasnt doing it for me. the way she portrayed Cammie and Josh talking made them sound like a couple of dumb annoying kids. maybe it was the way that she made him sound very breathy and slow talking or cammie sound more like high pitch breathing than talking was kind of annoying. i get everyone kinda imagines the characters differently but i just was a little disappointed in that aspect. other than that its a great book! i did love the narrators version of Bex so it wasnt horrible

Revisado: 02-11-22
Its a good an interesting story, but i have to agree with other reviews talking about how the darkling wqs nevwr given a name and just called the darkling the whole time. as a secondary love interest it just felt too..... cringey? other than that its a really good story and I really enjoyed it so just rwad it and find out for yourself

Historia
A queen now in exile as a traitor, Lara has watched Ithicana be conquered by her own father, helpless to do anything to stop the destruction. But when she learns her husband, Aren, has been captured in battle, Lara knows there is only one reason her father is keeping him alive: as bait for his traitorous daughter. And it is bait she fully intends to take. Risking her life to the Tempest Seas, Lara returns to Ithicana with a plan not only to free its king, but for liberating the Bridge Kingdom from her father’s clutches using his own weapons: the sisters whose lives she spared.

Read This Book!!
Revisado: 01-08-22
so i almost didnt read this book because of the bad revies i saw but im really glad i did read it. i dont understand the review with people getting mad over the amount of violence because its really not that bad and it makes the story all the more realistic and raw in my opinion. also i saw some people were mad about the ending saying its a cliff hanger blah blah blah and its really not. clearly we have an idea whats gonna happen in the next book. so all in all its a great book and i loved reading it. dont listen to the vad revies
