Make Your Bed was a great book, but this provides a lot more inspiration. The first book was about developing the discipline while the Hero Code is about how one should go about if one is to pursue greatness. I really admire and respect Admiral McRaven

Some of the quips did go over my head but I have the physical copy so I can revisit them. Very subtle humor but still holds true to today when it comes to humor. Gives you an insight on the philosophical nature of comedy.

I was introduced to Phyllis Schlafly when Michael Knowles was discussing the inaccurate movie or tv show that was about her. I came across this book and figured it was going to a regular redpill book. It was but it wasn’t boring at all. She doesn’t waste anytime with unimportant details and is very direct with what she discusses. It’s mostly a timeline structured book but it’s incredibly important to read how bad feminism was and still is. Feminists are basically Marxists

I was curious about Camus after seeing him mention in the movie Jarhead.
The Stranger starts very slow and will seem like it doesn’t go anywhere until you get closer to Pt. 2 then it really takes you away from a first person perspective to an objective audience (even though Mersault is telling the story in first person). It deals in absurdism which incorporates warmed-over nihilism (I’m not a believer in nihilism) but what makes Camus’s philosophy different is that you could easily understand that situations may happen with any rationality/reason. I do believe everything happens for a reason, but it’s not always from a religious standpoint as it’s commonly associated with. The book isn’t overt with absurdism because you’re witnessing it and you have make the judgment for yourself

You rarely hear about the film adaptation of a book being better than the book, but this is one of them. The problem with the book is that it is discombobulated being that he jumps from one story/area of his life to another without any respectable transition. It’s not boring, but it’s not a good book either.

I haven’t even finished the book because it’s hard to concentrate on it with a narrator who speaks very monotone and dull and makes the chapters seem longer than they are.
I recommend the book nonetheless. Jonathan Haidt has written great books. I wish he would’ve narrated

I support Mike Lindell and his company. I wanted to read this book when I discovered it in store. He is proof that one can overcome adversity in life especially with a debilitating addiction such as drugs and gambling. Not only that, but God is truly wonderful and to have really given Mike many chances to redeem himself is astonishing. While it is a great story, it’s laden with details to where you can get lost. Nevertheless it really is inspiring. I own a few MyPillows and they are fantastic

I enjoy Gad Saad, but this book is very basic redpill knowledge and almost nothing profound. I’m adding it to my bookshelf however because he’s not wrong nor is it a bad book.

I always figured the division is based upon the subjective morality but this book delve more into it and challenged those like me who believe are moral objectivists. It didn’t challenge me in the sense that he was saying I was wrong in my belief, but in the manner of questioning why do I believe what I believe especially as a conservative libertarian.
Around the middle of the book I did get lost when he discussed the behaviors of some animals. I was at work so that may be just me.

Jonathan And Greg both don’t beat around the bush to get to the point. Very direct and simple to understand.
I used to have the old man mentality like “oh those damn snowflakes”. This book doesn’t disprove this but it does explain exactly why they are the way they are. The problem with some bumper sticker conservatives (I’m a conservative libertarian) is they rant about the youth without providing any substance to those views. They don’t really get down to the psychology and philosophy behind safetyism and we can’t just laugh at the triggered and expect we’re gonna combat this culture war we are in. This book really helped me understand the psychological and philosophical perspective of those “snowflakes”. While I oppose their distorted worldview, I understand the basis for their beliefs.
