Historia
An uneasy peace between the dwarves of Mithral Hall and the orcs of the newly established Kingdom of Many-Arrows can't last long. The orc tribes united under Obould begin to fight each other, and Bruenor is determined to finish the war that nearly killed him and almost destroyed everything he's worked to build. But it will take more than swords and axes to bring a lasting peace to the Spine of the World.

Bramhall is PAINFUL TO LISTEN TO!!!!!!
Revisado: 06-27-22
I almost can't continue listening to this book the narration is so awful. If Audible is going to hire a new narrator in the middle of a book series, they should at least maintain the pronunciations of characters, locations, relics, etc... that play a major part in the series. It wasn't as bad in the sellsword series to hear a different narrator but this is just AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING is pronounced properly. NOT ONE NAME!!!!!! and his delivery is so boring it's miserable. Audible should have done anything they could to maintain Bevine as the only narrator of this series. They need pay him whatever he wants to go back and redo the Bramhall books. I think I'll just read the wikis on these books and skip ahead. I'll be getting my credit back on this one!

Historia
If the past is prologue, then George R. R. Martin's masterwork - the most inventive and entertaining fantasy saga of our time - warrants one hell of an introduction. At long last, it has arrived with The World of Ice & Fire. This volume is a comprehensive history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's Game of Thrones.

It starts off simply enough. (Doesn't it always?) Jack has been on hiatus since the tragic events in Harbingers. With his beloved Gia's encouragement he dips his toe back into the fix-it pool.Christy Pickering's 18-year-old daughter is dating Jerry Bethlehem, a man twice her age. Christy sensed something shady and sinister about him, so she hired a private investigator to look into his past. But the PI isn't returning her calls. Will Jack find out why?

DICK HILL SUCKS!!!!!!!!! REDO WITH PRICE!!!!!
Revisado: 03-27-18
I LOVE Repairman Jack but I had to stop listening 10 minutes in. Jack sounds like a really lousy, whiney mafioso wannabe. Makes Joe Pesci sound manly. Abe sounds like the worst version of a Jewish accent I've ever heard in my life. He sounds like he's doing a crappy Jewish accent with cotton balls in his mouth. I guess I'll have to skip the audiobooks on this and go back to normal reading, or get the e-book and let the robot voice read it. It will sound LIGHTYEARS better than Hill. I will NEVER listen to a book narrated by Hill again.

The final book in the Michael Vey series opens with the Electroclan facing a devastating loss: Michael is missing. He made the ultimate sacrifice to save his friends, and now he's gone. What is next for them and the revolution? The battle on the island of Hades ended with a devastating explosion that left the island a smoking ruin and much of Hatch's army dead. However, Hatch survived, and while his plans have certainly suffered a setback, he's more determined than ever to bring the world's governments under his control.

Fantastic finish to an inspiring series
Revisado: 11-13-17
Evans has done a fantastic job with this series creating compelling characters that are relatable and telling a great tale with them. "The Final Spark" really does justice to the overall story and ends the series with a satisfying conclusion.
As usual, Fred Berman's Narration was really fun and I look forward to finding other titles he's done.

I've got a bad feeling about this
Revisado: 09-13-15
It's really bed when the only character you remotely care about is a psychotic reprogrammed battle droid. Characters are poorly written and the only remotely interesting pays are the interludes. I REALLY hope this is NOT where the movies are headed.

Another Who Novel.... another winner!
Revisado: 09-10-12
What did you love best about Doctor Who: Autonomy?
I'm relatively new to the Who universe and when I found out there were audiobook novels available I became interested. I downloaded a couple of them to listen to as I work around my house (when I can't WATCH Doctor Who episodes) and I must say I am greatly pleased. It maintained the feel of the show and helped me imagine a fantastic vision of the story. I will definitely be getting more Doctor audiobooks.
This particular novel had everything a multi-episode arc of the TV Series has. Intriguing characters, fun twists and hilarious Doctor moments. I truly enjoyed it and look forward to more Who novels.
What does Georgia Moffett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ms. Moffett did a SPECTACULAR job of narrating the story. Her work was well varied from character to character to bring each one to life and she did an especially good job of holding to Mr. Tennant's characteristics when she performed the conversations of The Doctor. I look forward to hearing her narrate more tales of The Doctor.

Historia
The TARDIS materialises on board the maiden voyage of a pioneering space cruiser, travelling from Earth to the planet Eternity. The Doctor has just started exploring the huge, hi-tech Interstitial Transposition Vehicle when there is a loud bang, a massive jolt and a flash of light. Shortly afterwards, he discovers that nearly all the passengers and crew have disappeared. Unless the Doctor and flight attendant Sugar MacAuley can take control and steer the ship, they could crash-land or keep slipping through space forever.

What other book might you compare Doctor Who to and why?
There IS NO comparing The Doctor!
What about David Tennant’s performance did you like?
I was very excited to see that my favorite Doctor was narrating his own tale. I was not disappointed either. Mr. Tennant did a fantastic job and I can't wait to listen to him narrate another tale.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not Necessarily.

A good first experience with Dale Brown
Revisado: 09-10-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is my first time experiencing Mr. Brown's work but I must say it probably won't be my last. I really enjoyed the story and the characters and would like to continue to follow them. Some of the plot twists were a little telegraphed but not so much so that they hindered my enjoyment of the story.
What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Mr. Dufris did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. I would listen to another tale narrated by him.
