An underrated gem in teen romance

I loved this book. I admit at first I thought it was going to be a little too straightforward (pardon the pun) for me. But then the plot kicks in and the feelings I felt were just peak good time vibes. Go into this book expecting a fun, fast paced, getter started teen romance. I laughed I cried, I started over and listened again.

Lovely book, lovely performance...

A wonderful book about found family and politics. The world is beautifully crafted and the character interactions make the story. The mc is relatable and truly an marvel to follow through his journey into the role of Emperor. I’d recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy and the adventure of monarchal politics. 10/10 for repeatability and story.
