Great world building, hit or miss dialogue

Really liked the book but the dialogue was pretty rough in spots… although it did smooth out about half way through.
Awesome world building and magic system. I enjoyed the story and narration enough to listen to book 2. Bummed about the lack of book 3

Solid kharadron novel

Solid book all around, performance was great as always. Just wish the characters had a little more personality. Two books into the series and still don’t feel like I know much about the main characters.
Still flying dwarves though so no complaints here.

Best AOS Novel to Date

I’ve listened to almost all of the AOS novels on audible and this was the best one yet. Even though it’s longer than most AOS novels, it never drags and the ending left me wanting more.
Narration was great. Story was great. Definitely worth a listen!

Absolutely loved this book and hope there will be several more to come. Richard Reed was phenomenal as always. Well worth a credit for any fan of high fantasy.

Fantastic start to a series

I’m a huge fan of the Marius mules series and found Capsarius to be an even more engaging and fun listen.
Characters are great, setting is amazing, narration is perfect, all in all this book is 5/5. Can’t wait for next in series.
If you’re a fan of historical fiction, don’t hesitate to spend a credit on this book, It’s fantastic!
