I have listened to or read most GC’s books, and although it is a little repetitive of his previous books, it was still a very motivational listen and I came away with new insights even on my second full listen. I highly recommend to anyone who wants inspiration to take any area of his or her life to the next level.

If you are extremely motivated and organized, you should still get some nuggets and motivation out of this audiobook. There are lots actionable items and concepts offered. Presumably less motivated and disciplined people would benefit even more from this audio book if they try applying the concepts.

The major premise of this book is taking massive action and outworking your competition. Seems simple, but GC and 10 X Rule provides great motivational energy. If you are not willing to work hard, this book may not be for you. If you are willing to work hard, this book will provide you recurring motivation. It is a bit of a catch-22, but if you are on the fence, this book may provide the motivation to double down. On the other hand, most quitters will quit whatever the endeavor. Are you ready to push yourself to the next level?! 10X!

I listen to many productivity, leadership and motivational audio books and podcasts. I have not listened to Relentless, and definitely will not after this experience. I hope Relentless was better than this. I cannot think of a single original idea or inspiration that came to me from listening to this audio book. Here is the entire book summarized in one sentence. Winning requires 100% commitment, that’s what MJ and Kobe did.
