What would have made Wicked Ways better?
I've enjoyed this series but this one was disappointing spent too much time building the p!of and became repetitive. Could have shavexd off a quarter of the story.

Has An Affair Before Christmas turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not in the genre, but in this series.
What didn’t you like about Susan Duerden’s performance?
I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was looking forward to listening to the second. What a disappoint. The story line took too long to develop, the narrator's voice of Poppy was irritating and was just overall, a major disappointment. I really enjoy a good series and now I'm reconsidering going further with this one.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment - poorly developed and narrated.

If you could sum up Shades of Gray in three words, what would they be?
I do not know why a change with the narrator. This narrator made it very difficult to concentrate on the great story.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Adam Paul?
The Harry Berkeley - he's been the narrator for the previous 5 books.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes - I think this has been the best of the series. I did find it difficult to stop listening.

The story is really good, but the narrator voice for the main man makes him sound like a cartoon character.
