No words will do justice on how excellent this book is. The writing Wildrose delivers along with the talented narration of Dane is truly a match made in heaven. I cannot recommend this book enough!!!

Immediately purchasing book two

Started this audiobook because I needed something to listen to while I got things done, however found myself so quickly drawn in to the fascinating plot and warm characters.
There were definitely times the main character made choices that drove me crazy, but on a much deeper level, found I actually appreciated the “humanity” and realism of it. Seems strange to say about a fantasy novel, but I look forward to the next book and hearing how the MC grows.
Were there bits that were predictable? Yes, but most books are and this one was well written. An absolute delight as a debut novel by Steinbrecher and found myself more caught off guard than figuring out what was to come.

And the narrator was absolutely tremendous. Well done!

No Slowing Down

This trilogy has an ironclad grip on my life. So consumed by the story, I have downloaded the audiobook in addition to owning the hardcopy because I cannot bear to pause the story due to everyday life occurring. Typically the second book in a trilogy is a boring as the author is building up for the grand finale that comes in the final book; however this middle child holds its own and your attention throughout.

Holy cow. I am so thankful the other books are out already because this would have been a whopper of a bookhanger. I can already tell that when I finish the series, I will be a shell of a human--aimlessly meandering about. If you love sci-fi, or have the desire the genre, I cannot recommend this book enough. ​​​​​​​​

The only way I will consume TJR now

​​​​​Struggled immensely with the formatting of the physical copy but since it was a book club read, pushed through and decided to try the audiobook edition. Switching over absolutely transformed the experience in the best way! The cast is top notch and I cannot recommend it highly enough. ​​​​​​​​
In my mind, this book was a combination of Almost Famous and Walk the Line — excellent films that really help those who are not in the music industry understand chemistry and a lifestyle we are not privy to. Overall entertaining and would recommend ​​​​​​​.
I will listen to any book Judy Greer narrates.

Heartwrenching

Selected by my book club to read, I had no previous knowledge of Jennette McCurdy. It was the group who informed me of her being a child actor and child actor memoirs are my kryptonite. Her story will break your heart, appreciate the healthy relationships that ARE in your life, and schedule an appointment with your therapist.

This team of narrators worked as a team to produce this audiobook and it shows. Typically not a fan of listening to fiction books, I found myself eager to listen when it came to this project and immediately purchased the sequel.
