This might be my favorite of the Miss Fortune series.

Ms. DeLeon seemed to have written this book a little differently than the previous ones but still managed to keep the humor, wit, and personality of the characters. Excellent story line. Plenty of highs and lows. I hope this series never ends.

Jana Delon never disappoints!

This book although different from most of the previous books was really good. There weren’t as many Gertie shenanigans but Ronald more than makes up for it. I love the way these books make me literally laugh out loud. I can’t wait for the next book to see how this storyline plays out.

What happened to the narrators from part 1?

The first book was interesting and the narrators did such a good job that I was intrigued to listen to part 2.
There is only one narrator in this book and his performance is disappointing. I got confused at one point because I forgot who was talking because his voice is just as deep for a female character as a male character. I almost don’t want to listen to part 3 now.

Absolutely Brilliant!

This book was even better than I had hoped it would be. Incredible storyline. The characters were complex yet relatable. The narrator really did an excellent job, I can’t wait for the next book.

The Best One Yet!

I love this series and have thoroughly enjoyed all the books but this might be my favorite. They’re always hilarious but this time I was actually caught by surprise when I got emotional over fictional characters! K.F. Breene’s writing is of course wonderful but there is no doubt about how Nicole Poole’s narration brings the character to life. Looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Inspiring

I don’t typically read autobiographical books but I found this one intriguing and it did not disappoint. Kudos to Mr. Spikes for his perseverance and his contribution, he not only contributed to the public at large but was mindful to constantly offer a helping hand to other people of color. His integrity is key to his success.

Laugh Out Loud!

I love this series and I think this might be the best book in the series. K.F. Breene did not disappoint. I literally LOL’d throughout the book. It’s easy to fall in love with the characters even the sketchy ones you probably shouldn’t. Excellent listen. I can’t wait for the next book!

I usually don’t care to read autobiographies but I absolutely loved this book!

It is captivating from the first sentence to the last. It is raw, beautiful and wonderfully written. Ms. Davis strikes the perfect balance of honesty, laughter, tragedy and triumph.

Jana never disappoints.

I love all of the books in the Miss Fortune series but I absolutely loved the complex storyline of this one. Considering all of what Jana had to deal with in the midst of writing this book (a true fan knows her story), the book was fantastic! This series is my getaway from the stress of every day life. It gives me the chuckles I need to make some days bearable. This is probably one of my favorites of my favorites. I didn’t want it to end.
