Great book. Be renewed in the spirit of your minds

Amazing recourse to cultivate your mind. Having read this book before in Europe and now being able to listen its audio version is great and inspirational. J.P. Moreland challenges you in wonderful way to be renewed in the spirit of your mind (Eph 4:23) by confronting the issue of anti intellectualism through letting Christ be in charge of your loving God with all of your mind. He walks you into the arena of reason and logic that is part of God's nature and His essence, deals with the faculties of your soul, and explores how this transformation could be applied not only in the life of the church but also in our personal lives. All content comes across in humble God glorifying way.

The narrator does wonderful job as well. If you have read this book before, marked it all up and wondered what kind of voice would it take to truly represents the content of this book, I don't think you could fine a better voice. Thank you all.

Great inspirational book ... must read 💌

This is a great inspirational book. I have read this book in different language before in Europe, in English it brings out a new prspective and speaks to me in new fresh way due to the emphasis of each language.

The Bible and this book should be the main textbooks in all public schools.

Completely Different Version Of Amazing Classic

I thought this was a same book (The Practice of The Presence of God by brother Lawrence from 1982) which I had for many years and read it many times; marked it all over and outlined almost every chapter. I am very familiar with the content. While listening something seemed very awkward and strange. After rewinding certain chapters and following in the book while the narrator reads the text, I can confirm to you that it has a different wording than my book, in some cases abbreviated sentences ..., words left out ... different word order or more simple word choice. This audio version seems to me as awkward version of this amazing classic by brother Lawrence. I had no idea that there are different versions of this classic.

But the most difficult thing about this audio is the way the narrator reads it .. quite fast in some sections .. something is wanting ..... , with a voice that doesn't represent this book, the tone of his voice comes across as impossible to follow ..., it changes from one level to unexpected flow ... maybe it's just bad audio editing, not leaving enough pause for listener to comprehend what was just spoken a second ago. In some sections you can hear his body language in his voice. I did finish it, but could only listen little bit at a time before it would give me anxiety.

The narrator is probably a wonderful fine young man, however his audio presentation comes across as hard to follow. Maybe it's difficult for me since I have read the book many times. Sorry, I have to return this book. May our God help this narrator to fulfil the purposes of God in his life. We all are in progress and God is so gracious with all of us as we all have come short of God's glory. We all need His love and Grace that helps us to experience His presence in order to be light, salt and witness to others for his glory, that when they see our light they glorify our Father which is in Heaven.

Just for your information, my book version of this classic is: "The Practice Of The Presence Of God" from 1982 by Whitaker House. It was a gift while being in Europe.

Great Book ... Blessing from God

Great inspirational book to in-rich yourself and especially your mind with confidential rational assurance of why you believe and what you believe. This book is an amazing apologetic-al recourse loaded with logic, rational reasoning and arguments to help all of us in the body of Christ to be ready to give answers as the world is watching us going through trials and sufferings which we are all honored to suffer for the LORD Jesus Christ. (1Pet 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:)

The Bible links v. 14 and v. 15 together. I believe that being ready to give an answer to others ... is in the context of suffering not to show off how much we know. The author communicates with authority, with clarity and also with humility as God's vessel while exploring variety of illustrations and the Biblical evidences to point us to the One that holds the breath in our nostrils. Having grown up in former Czechoslovakia under iron curtain while serving under communistic labor camp army unit for those opposing the totalitarian regime, and surviving the intellectual brain-washings of blood thirsty liberal communistic regime; makes me so thankful to God for the way the LORD uses William Lane Craig to equip us to be on guard and to sharpen our minds. Truly what a blessing. Thank you brother William.

I am very picky on what I read, the time is very precious and the most valuable thing you can give to anybody. Once you give your time away you can't take it back. This book worth every single moment of your time either listening it or reading it. It is really great amazing book.

Great inspirational book to worship The LORD Jesus

Encouraging and inspirational if you understand that God has done something for us, Jesus died for us; and secondly God has done something to us, we were crucified with Christ. Both justification and our sanctification are based on finished work Christ on the cross. We are saved by Grace through faith not of works (Eph 2:8-9). As you listen, please remember that you are accepted in the beloved Jesus Christ by faith. You can not evoke from God higher favour by your commitment than He already gave you through atoning death of Christ on the cross and through His resurrection. Please do not turn your sanctification into works of legalism but rather use this book to receive by faith what God has already given you through Christ on the cross and when He came back from grave.
