This book is a very thoughtful, well researched collection of essays on VODUN, as practiced in West Africa and the Americas. A definite must have for those interested in Voodoo as a world, multinational, multi, ethnic, spiritual, tradition, or traditions
The performance and the pronunciation of key terms Are great.,
The authors are extremely sensitive and respectful to the subject matter.
This is a definite must have for people interested in Voodoo and Orisha in the Americas.
One of my favorite books on Vodun.

Extremely practical and well researched

I enjoyed the audio version of this book a great deal. The reader gave a solid clear enjoyable performance. The conscience was excellent. The author does not dwell in a lot of autobiographical material. He gets practical techniques, from multiple perspectives, helpful tips as well as precautionary actions and things to avoid. People interested in shaman ism, traditional African or Afro diaspora traditions, or modern neopagans will find this book very useful.
