Historia
When Stephanie Kiser moves to New York City after college to pursue a career in writing, she quickly learns that her entry-level salary won't cover the cost of living. But there is one in-demand job that pays enough to allow Stephanie to stay in the city: nannying for the 1%. Desperate to escape the poverty of her own childhood, Stephanie falls into a job that hijacks her life for the next seven years: a glorified personal assistant to toddlers on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Fantastic book. It really explains the class divide in the US. It also shows that money doesn’t protect women from having to do everything in the family

Historia
Ray Dalio does not want you to listen to this audiobook. Late last year, when the billionaire founder of Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund on the planet, announced that he was stepping down from the company he started out of his apartment nearly 50 years ago, the news made headlines around the world. Dalio cultivated an aura of international admiration and fame thanks to his company’s eye-popping success, coupled with a mystique he encouraged with frequent media appearances, celebrity hobnobbing, and his bestselling book, Principles.

Fantastic book about why and how narcissism is so dangerous
Revisado: 11-25-23
This is a handbook of coercive control. Give people impossible “rules” that are constantly under revision. Then surveil them, and get people to inform on each other. Then humiliate them in public. Finally cement their loyalty with promises of ever more money. Author is outstanding. Great research and even better writing. Dahlio should be ashamed of threatening this talented researcher and writer.
