Historia
During the mid ‘80s, Ratt was one of the biggest hard rock/heavy metal bands in the United States. Turn on MTV, and it was seemingly only a matter of time until a Ratt video was aired. Visit your local newsstand, and you were sure to detect a Ratt band member on the cover of one of the leading rock mags. Take a gander at the album charts, and one of their platinum (or platinum plus) LP’s would have been easy to spot.

The worst narrator/reader of all time
Revisado: 12-08-24
I liked and craved the information, but the performance was God awful. Listen for one minute and you hear that the narrator is a novice reader. Or maybe it was just bad AI.

Historia
In Charles Barkley: The Inspiring Story of One of Basketball's Greatest Power Forwards, you'll learn the inspirational story of basketball's legendary power forward Charles Barkley. Barkley was one of the most popular big men throughout 1980's and 1990's basketball due to his dominance on both sides of the court. He remains one of the greatest examples of how to overcome obstacles to become a great, as he went through his entire career as "undersized" compared to traditional power forwards.

I guess they picked the guy that read this on quality of voice and not exceptional reading capabilities. In the future, anyone hired to read these audiobooks need to do a little research on name pronunciation, and punctuation flow.

Historia
One of the few indisputable geniuses of pop music, Sly Stone is a trailblazer and a legend. He created a new kind of music, mixing Black and white, male and female, funk and rock. As a songwriter, he penned some of the most iconic anthems of the 1960s and ’70s, from “Everyday People” to “Family Affair.” As a performer, he electrified audiences with a persona and stage presence that set a lasting standard for pop-culture performance.

The reader
Revisado: 12-18-23
The story lacked in band dynamics and musical history. A last name repeated once in a while would’ve been nice.

Historia
What story begins in a bedroom in suburban New Jersey in the early '60s, unfolds on some of the country's largest stages, and then ranges across the globe, demonstrating over and over again how rock and roll has the power to change the world for the better? This story. The first true heartbeat of Unrequited Infatuations is the moment when Stevie Van Zandt trades in his devotion to the Baptist religion for an obsession with rock and roll.

Best read audiobook ever!!!
Revisado: 10-25-21
I did not know that Miami Steve was such a Renaissance man. His story is inspiring and his ability to entertain while reading his story is top notch. I believe Steven Van Zandt could have another career reading audiobooks. I’ve recommended this book to all my musician friends and non-musician friends alike.
