I loved this series and this booking in particular. The issues were very thought provoking and relevant to the reader. It was the best philosophy class I ever took!

The author of The Far Pavilions returns us once again to the vast, intoxicating romance of India under the British Raj. Shadow of the Moon is the story of Winter de Ballesteros, a beautiful English heiress come home to her beloved India. It is also the tale of Captain Alex Randall, her protector, who aches to possess her. So amazing and heart rending!

The story is amazing. I read it once in high school and again in college. Listening to it made it come to life in a whole different way. The narrator is amazing and makes each character alive to the reader.

Historia
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

Amazing, enthralling, wonderful and unique
Revisado: 01-20-23
This was a masterfully told story written by an amazing author. I love the voices and accents this narrator uses. I think listening to this story rather than reading it added a whole layer I could see it all in my head as if I’m a movie.
