Good sorry don’t care for the new narrator
Revisado: 08-22-24
Love the continuation of the story and the progression in story telling. Morris does a great job of making funny dadish jokes that lighten the mood. Sometimes it feels like the story is too easy for the character even when he is in trouble it feels like he gets out of it too easily. The new narrator isn’t great. I really liked the previous one.

Historia
You're going to want to know what happens to Theodore when he has to face a crime boss! Theodore defeated a dragon and dealt with denial. Now he needs to return a young widow to her parents. Will they make it through this adventure alive? The answer to that last question is a real conundrum. I mean, it is a real doozy.

I enjoyed listening to this story. Morris has developed a very interesting premise for the reader to grasp. Understanding loss and grief is difficult and this series is approaching it from a new and different perspective.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

I think it is good

Listening to this again after maturing some 20 years has changed my perspective on the story but I still love the Wheel of Time and Robert Jordan’s work. Michael and Kate do excellent work narrating and I am grateful for their contributions to bringing this story to life!

Really great to get these little novellas that can be finished in a single road trip and be Sanderson through and through! Highly recommend you read this prior to Oathbringer but not necessary.

An interesting dive into what happens to a person after death
Revisado: 03-30-23
Morris does a good job of telling a story. As a new author I can tell that they have personally explored this from the perspective from those that are still alive and experiencing grief of having lost someone. I appreciate that they spent the time to make it feel like a game to help the self explore and accept their own death. The cliffhanger at the end is a nice way to transition towards book two and I am excited to hear that next recording. My 11 year old kid that is into gaming also enjoyed the book.

I almost DNF
Revisado: 07-14-22
Here is the deal this is a super long prologue for a greater story. The story is predictable and almost nothing was surprising or exciting. This is a shame because the authors previous works were both exciting and engaging! The magic system is interesting and I like that almost everyone can benefit from it in some way. The reason I didn’t give up on it was due to my on OCD and need to finish something I started. This is a step backwards for the author that I hope he can recover in the next book when it comes out.

Wow the voice acting is terrible
Revisado: 05-28-21
Love this story but the voice acting in this version is so bad it literally makes the story hard to listen to.
