Historia
Frank, funny and open-hearted, You Never Know is an intimate memoir from one of the most beloved actors of our time, the highly personal story of a remarkable life and thoroughly accidental career. In his own voice and uniquely unpretentious style, the famed actor brings listeners on his uncharted but serendipitous journey to the top in Hollywood, his temptations and distractions, his misfires and mistakes and, over time, his well-earned success.

Tom Selleck tells us his story and its a good one.
Revisado: 02-14-25
This book was mainly about Magnum PI's 8 seasons and the fun and struggles of making it. He does talk about Blue Bloods in the last 30 minutes. I have always liked Tom Selleck, and now I validated why. Fun, integrity, fair, always thinking about others. He knows that he has been very blessed for Magnum PI and then to have Blue Bloods. I have no doubt that Selleck had a lot of impact on how both these shows were successful. I recommend this book. I am leaving out a lot of details that you will encounter reading it. I did the audiobook, and Tom reads the book. This is my favorite type where the author reads the book.

The catastrophic Purge War at the end of the 21st century destroys planet Earth, jeopardizing the future for the remnants of humanity. Book1 - FDP looks bright
Revisado: 04-17-23
Get first book. Having been in the software industry since the 80s, I liked the AI and other technical references that were used in today’s world and in the future they jump into. Who doesn’t wonder what time travel would be like. What would it be like to change history, can you? What could go wrong? I don’t do a lot of Si-Fi type books. This book was easy for me as there was so much I could relate to in the story in places and events. The reader’s pace was good and not monotone. The character voices were good and believable. Overall great first book. Now, to wait until the story continues in book 2.

Historia
At 22, Cheryl Strayed thought she had lost everything. In the wake of her mother's death, her family scattered and her own marriage was soon destroyed. Four years later, with nothing more to lose, she made the most impulsive decision of her life: to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State - and to do it alone. She had no experience as a long-distance hiker, and the trail was little more than “an idea, vague and outlandish and full of promise.” But it was a promise of piecing back together a life that had come undone.

Historia
With ribald humor, wit, and incredible insight, Alan seamlessly moves back and forth in time, integrating stories from his childhood in Scotland and his experiences today as the celebrated actor of film, television, and stage. At times suspenseful, at times deeply moving, but always incredibly brave and honest, Not My Father's Son is a powerful story of embracing the best aspects of the past and triumphantly pushing the darkness aside.

Historia
The year is 1763. Gideon Seymour, cutpurse and gentleman, hides in dense underbrush from the villainous Tar Man. Suddenly the sky peels away like fabric and from the gaping hole fall two curious-looking children. Peter Schock and Kate Dyer have fallen straight from the 21st century, thanks to an experiment Kate's father was running with an antigravity machine.

Revisado: 03-25-15
Good story. Very good narrator. Many ages of readers will enjoy this one. Now if you can get over the idea that science will rein and fix all evils you can really like this book. Really like the characters and how they develop.

Historia
Welcome to the Village of Ballybucklebo. Come and say hello to Dr. O'Reilly's odd-as-two-left feet patients, his housekeeper, Mrs. "Kinky" Kinkaid, and O'Reilly's pets, Arthur Guinness, the beer-swilling black Lab and Lady MacBeth, the demonically possessed white cat. And of course, to young Dr. Barry Laverty. After Barry's first month as an assistant to crusty Dr. O'Reilly, he has been offered a permanent spot. But Laverty's excitement is dashed when one of his patients unexpectedly dies.

Historia
Barry Laverty, M.B., can barely find the village of Ballybucklebo on a map when he first sets out to seek gainful employment there, but already he knows that there is nowhere he would rather live than in the emerald hills and dales of Northern Ireland. The proud owner of a spanking-new medical degree and little else in the way of worldly possessions, Barry jumps at the chance to secure a position as an assistant in a small rural practice. At least until he meets Dr. Fingal Flahertie O'Reilly.
