Historia
Phaedra Brighton is perfectly content with her life of lecturing college students, gossiping with her best friends, and dreaming of Mr. Darcy. As a young, respected (if somewhat peculiar) English professor, her expertise lies in all things Jane Austen — but she knows that the closest she'll ever get to being a real-life Elizabeth Bennet is in her dreams.

The best thing in the story was that the heroine was loyal and determined to never gave up believing in her friend or her friend’s innocence

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

An Amazing Experience!!
Revisado: 06-27-22
Being a dark chocolate baby girl myself, I identified with her whole journey!! I laughed out loud, cried, and got angry when she did. That feeling of unworthiness and helplessness is hard to erase. Of wishing you were invisible is a constant and only friend at times. As you can see in the book it is 2 steps forward and sometimes 5 back. But you keep listening to that small voice instead of the loud noice saying you’re nothing. Until your sense of self matures. First, Marveling at our sense of accomplishment in accepting an ounce of worthiness. We are a work in Progress and we can only get better as we keep striving for better!!! Kudos to Viola. I would recommend this book, no require each young girl to read it, especially the beautiful dark chocolate baby girls!! It reveals there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!
