Adventure with subtle biblical undertones
Revisado: 03-12-25
Each book takes a great journey. Book 10 has me wondering if the author is paid by words used. I'm in chapter 29 feeling like it's a circle jerk or diddling contest. Move it along.
Prove what? He's already proved the prophecy. Just fight dammit.

enjoyable
Revisado: 01-04-25
This story has all the drama written from a young adult / teen perspective.
I felt the narrator was a bit too breathy. The whining part might just be the story, but several times I wanted to chuck my phone in disgust. The action scenes were fun.
it's worth a credit for the trilogy.

narrator very subdued
Revisado: 11-04-24
The narrator reminds me of the teacher in Buellers day off! He must have taken ludes. I listened for 3 minutes and stopped.
I wish her new book were on audible with a good narrator. I'd get it.

Best fantasy world !
Revisado: 07-31-24
Mr. Cahill has made an epic world of dragons, magicians, druids, humans and dwarves and many others. this is truly an epic series that you really don't want to miss. it's a great value at one credit for so many hours.
It's going to be horrible to wait for the release of the next book, but it'll be worth it.

This is a very moving tale of a lost hero. It makes me think of my father and step father both military heroes.
Now I ask did I really know these men. This is a very moving documentary. A must read for all patriots!

EPIC adventure
Revisado: 03-30-24
I've read or listened to all the classics. Torsten Weitze has created a real world with characters that come alive!
You must listen to this box set, but beware, I'm now in book 8 and can't stop! We have a new Tolkien or George RR Martin with this epic story!
It's PG 13 which frankly I appreciate. This needs, no begs to be made into movies!!!

You’ll meet some of the beloved characters from Noah Primeval when they were much younger, like Methuselah and Uriel, as well as the origin stories of the lead Watchers, Semjaza and Azazel who became the gods Anu and Inanna.

descent story so so narration
Revisado: 07-09-23
I started this series because I like Christian fiction so I thought I'd give it a shot. The stories are decent, but I cringe when I see an author is the narrator. I imagine if this had been narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds. it would be a 10 out of 10, but I really can't stand certain aspects of the narration, but I trudge through anyway.
I don't like the honey bunny simpering love language used in this book, and it's starting to grate on my nerves. I've chosen to overlook it so I can get through the story cuz I actually like the story but geez get a real narrator.

After a year of fighting across three different lands, Dante and Blays have finally brought Gladdic to justice - and in the process, they've unleashed a horror beyond all reckoning. The enemy is known as the White Lich. He is ancient. He is immensely powerful. And Gladdic believes he will soon enslave all of Tanar Atain. Their only chance to defeat him is to strike fast, before the lich has regained his power. But attacking him directly would be suicide.

lost interest, overly long
Revisado: 12-26-22
Sluggish story. I read this book after finishing the Cycle of Arawn and the first 3 of the cycle of Galand.
It's just hard to keep going. It feels stuck and IMHO it's never good to be fighting a demi God. He goes from one blight battle to the next barely surviving. we hear nothing really from other areas. I'm stopping here. Yes, the future reviews helped me make that decision. I wasted 4 credits is how I feel.

I almost returned, but persevered.
Revisado: 11-28-22
The first book was hard to get through. it seemed sophomoric. Then the story deepened.
I thought of turning in the trilogy, but now I'm glad I gave it a chance. The second and third book were nail biters. There were a few mundane areas, but the story progressed. I have the first book in the Cycle of Garland ready to go.
Enjoyable story. The narrator is awesome as usual.

I am glad I got this book! I felt love, disgust, fear, hope and I can’t wait for book 2! It’s a deep story with so many sub story lines. You won’t regret spending the credit.
