Deeply thoughtful and beautifully written
Revisado: 10-14-24
I listened to every single word of this book. Beautifully written and read. I could relate to this book on a cellular level. I hope the author will continue to feel the peace she found.

Extremely shallow love story
Revisado: 04-02-23
Characters are extremely shallow. All of them are damaged selfish individuals and don’t show any growth. Main character is so annoying.

Cringy
Revisado: 10-18-22
I can’t believe all the good reviews. Did we read the same book? If you have the slightest knowledge in healthcare, how hospitals work, psychiatric units or mental illnesses you will find this book cringy. Seems like no research has gone in to writing it. Characters were so shallow and one dimensional. 14 hours of pure torture to get through it(Self inflicted of course)

How? But how?
Revisado: 04-04-22
I can’t even imagine how this book has so many great reviews. It was so hard to finish. The main character is so stupid and has no common sense. The writing is too wordy and too descriptive. Goes on and on about mundane things. The book kept hinting at a twist but it wasn’t even that great. So random. Narration was good though.

Historia
It’s been a decade since Trumanell Branson disappeared, leaving only a bloody handprint behind. Her pretty face still hangs like a watchful queen on the posters on the walls of the town’s Baptist church, the police station, and in the high school. They all promise the same thing: We will find you. Meanwhile, Tru's brother, Wyatt, lives as a pariah in the desolation of the old family house, cleared of wrongdoing by the police but tried and sentenced in the court of public opinion and in a new documentary about the crime.
