Nope, really did not like her style.

No

What didn’t you like about Colin Mace’s performance?

Characters were introduced painfully long, way to long.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Absolutely None!

I kept thinking he would wrap it up and that would help it but that did not happen either.

If you could sum up Out of Breath in three words, what would they be?

What a heartfelt book, the characters are so well written! You have to love Emma, root for her and Evan, life is so unfair to her. She has all this complication in her life and most of it happened to her before she was 10 years old! I felt as though I was in therapy reading it, in a very good way! These characters have very good friends that tell it how it is, they recognize a damaged person and only want to help her. I cried, laughed, as some places my breathe was just sucked away! WOW!

Have you listened to any of Kate Rudd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Wonderful writer, story teller, she pulls you in to her stories!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Each time Emma reaches the end of her struggle, I understood and cried to see her finally have had enough!

Bravo to Kate, I wish I could tell her how much this book helped me!

After the first few hours . . . it became all the same. Certainly did not warrant 19 hours.

Can't imagine why this was HBO material. The gore he described could not have been easy to hear on national TV

TOO MUCH NARRATION

Is there anything you would change about this book?

YES, this book is narrated way too much. The story does not flow . . . too much he felt this, she said that, the rest of the books let the story tell it much better. I found myself saying just let him tell her, but instead it was . . . "he wanted to say this".

Not surprising

Yes, always does

I loved the story, loved Mia and her strength, hated Gabe (and don't we love to hate the villain!!)

That Mia trusted Gabe even though it was tough to do and he misused it sometimes.
