Historia
Alfonso "Little Al" D'Arco, the former acting boss of the Luchese crime family, was the highest-ranking mobster to ever turn government witness when he flipped in 1991. His decision to flip prompted many others to make the same choice, including John Gotti's top aide, Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, and his testimony sent more than fifty mobsters to prison. In Mob Boss, award-winning news reporters Jerry Capeci and Tom Robbins team up for this unparalleled account of D'Arco's life.

Good story but it made Al into a lot more than he was.
Revisado: 03-24-24
The book tries to make it out that Al was a big Mafia boss he wasn't he was put in his position because he was easy to control and he was terrified of Gaspipe. One thing the book seems to gloss over is just how scared Al was when he thought he was going to get hit this has been confirmed by the agents who delt with him and other mobsters who turned. According to Gaspipe Al wasn't even going to be hit they were just changing things up and Al got very scared and took off. Guys like Al are the reason the Mafia imploded on itself.

Historia
When Mark Lanegan first arrived in Seattle in the mid-1980s, he was just "an arrogant, self-loathing redneck waster seeking transformation through rock 'n' roll." Little did he know that within less than a decade, he would rise to fame as the frontman of the Screaming Trees, and then fall from grace as a low-level crack dealer and a homeless heroin addict, all the while watching some of his closest friends rocket to the forefront of popular music.

14 hours of Paul crying!!
Revisado: 11-28-21
I've never read a book with so much complaining in it ever!! Paul blames everyone and anyone he can for the fact that he is miserable and still stuck in the closet 60 years later. He has some weird obsession with Peter Chriss I don't know if Paul is sexually attractive to him or if it's because Peter wrote the biggest Kiss song either way he needs to figure it out with a mental health professional!!!

Historia
Rene "Boxer" Enriquez grew up on the violent streets of East L.A., where gang fights, robberies, and drive-by shootings were fueled by rage, drugs, and alcohol. When he finally landed in prison - at the age of 19 - Enriquez found an organization that brought him the respect he always wanted: the near-mythic and widely feared Mexican Mafia, La Eme. What the organization saw in Enriquez was a young man who knew no fear and would kill anyone - justifiably or not - in the blink of an eye.
