The whole story was well write
Revisado: 10-27-24
I really liked this story. I read like a real story of a boy even though it was 100% fiction. It was nice to read about a place were the author actually lives and has some first ha nd knowledge of to some extent. Also the sprinkling in of some actual historical events. There just was one small aspect of this book that I personally didn't feel added any value to the story. I really loved the ending chapter but felt it could have given a bit more. After having a sort of a word filler chapter a couple chapters back with no real substance. I'm happy to say that, that was the only time throughout this whole story I wasn't engaged. The rest of this book was phenomenal. Well done! I throughly enjoyed this book!

Often considered to be one of the most famous pieces by Edgar Allan Poe, 'The Raven' is a poem recounting the descent into madness of a young man lamenting the loss of his lover. This spellbinding performance by Dominic West (The Wire, The Affair) lures the listener into the depths of the protagonist’s despair.

This is a simple poem to understand. Especially the way the poem was performed, I was if Poe himself was speaking. Very well written and told.

Historia
The many lives of theoretical physicist Elsie Hannaway have finally caught up with her. By day, she’s an adjunct professor, toiling away at grading labs and teaching thermodynamics in the hopes of landing tenure. By other day, Elsie makes up for her non-existent paycheck by offering her services as a fake girlfriend, tapping into her expertly honed people-pleasing skills to embody whichever version of herself the client needs. Honestly, it’s a pretty sweet gig—until her carefully constructed Elsie-verse comes crashing down.

I really liked the beginning of this book.
The crazy way the protagonists meet for the second time. Even one of the sub plots just because it was out of the box and pretty creative.
What I disliked was the Spice which was one of the main themes.
Too much Spice. Erotic at times. Not interesting to me in the least. 5 stars for creativity!

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

King's best Work
Revisado: 08-21-24
This story was so well written. It was full of engaging details. It felt almost like an autobiography. It read like a personal experience or retelling, simultaneously aware that time travel doesn't exsist and this is a work of fiction. The protagonist Jake/George went on such an eventful adventure throughout two different time period. Showing how time turned on a dime. I could have done without the profanity and the over emphasized physical abuse of Marina Oswald . Otherwise excellent!

1st and 2nd were better but good.
Revisado: 06-22-24
The Housemaid Series starts out by following the life of a young girl named Mille who with a questionable past gets a job as a housemaid. She goes through alot of crazy ups and downs, and experiences things you were never expecting through out the first 2 books. This book is a continuation of her life yeaes after the last book left off. Its like catching up with an old friend you haven't seen in a lond time and shes filling you in.
I really really liked books one and two in this series. I think that book 2 may have been sightly better then the first, but with that being said none of these books are less then a 4 star read. Also any of these books could be read as a stand alone. For me it's better to read as a series. At the end of each book the epilogue leaves you wanting more.
