A lovely slow burn story

I love the narrators enthusiasm it really brought the story to life. I really enjoyed the story for the most part but the ending felt a little obvious. It’s a romance story so theres not a long list of ways to finish it. I had really enjoyed the story I just felt the ending needed a little more.

An interesting concept

I felt like I was starting in the middle of a story rather than at the beginning. I felt a little lost in the paranormal aspect of the story. It felt like a means to an end although by the end I could see it was a bigger story but I felt if the start hadn’t been brushed over so lightly it would have been a better listen. I felt like it was very repetitive in speech and in use of vocabulary. I almost didn’t finish with an hour and a half left. But I started again and the ending made me feel better about the rest of the story.
The narrator was great. She has a lovely tone to her voice so I look forward to listening to more of her work.
I kind of want to listen to the next book in the series to see where it is going and if it improves. I suspect the bigger picture for the story will be better, I would have just liked the start to be more full and a variety of words and descriptions for the male member and what it was doing or experiencing.
