I didn't want to stop listening! Loved this book!

I normally don't write reviews, but couldn't pass this one by. This story kept me so engaged I didn't want to stop listening. From beginning to end and then I didn't want it to end! Loved Abigail and Brooks, and how their relationship grew and blossomed. How Abigail slowly learned to trust again and how smart and unique she was. Loved the intrigue of the story line, but don't want to say too much and ruin it. Also, the narrator was perfect with all the different characters and truly brought the story to life. Found myself feeling like I was there. I highly recommend this book. Definitely worth the credit...You won't be sorry!

Loved this series!

This review is in regards to the whole series. I loved listening to a series that were full of intrigue, romance, excitement and bits of Godly touches of faith and hope. I listen to a lot of romance novels, but these three were delightful and refreshing. I was never bored in the least and I highly recommend them. Well worth the credits! I don't know if I liked one over the other, but I found myself laughing, crying and cheering at some time or another in all three, but especially in "Caught By Surprise." There were so many times of emotions, yet the story left you feeling wonderful at the end. Simply a wonderful read! Looking forward to more books by Jen Turano! Please keep them coming. We need more positive, clean romance books likes these!

Beautiful Story of Love and Forgiveness!

I've listened to many many audio romances, but don't think I've had one that touched me as much as this one. Many of the circumstances were sad, so sad I found tears running down my face as I was listening. Then found myself smiling and joyful as Cassie found forgiveness and love through obedience and humbleness. I didn't always feel Cassie's parents (especially her mother) was as supportive as they could have been, but I guess in the time period and the fact she was a Vicar's daughter, she was expected to act above reproach. I loved the fact that Evan was a man of integrity, even when it obviously meant there would be negative repercussions for Cassie and himself in the end. I also loved all the references to God's word. I love this was a "clean" romance. The story was so much deeper and solid and the narration was perfect. I highly recommend this book. I will listen to it again and I've already purchased the next book and can't wait to find out what happens to Lenora!

I usually don't write reviews but this book had me hooked from the very beginning. I couldn't stop listening and I found myself laughing one minute and almost crying the next. Always sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. Can't wait until the next book comes out.

Sweet magical love story!

Every now and then I love to read something short and sweet. This good hit the mark. It was a bit whimsical, magical but had a touch of romance for the length of book it was. I enjoyed following how the couple actually fell in love by following their hearts. Which is what we all do in real life, right? Yes I recommend this book. Made me smile when I was finished with it!

I really like this series. I read the first book and really got into the story, but was skeptical on whether or not the second book would be as captivating. It was! Great mix of romance, action and mystery! I'm looking forward to the third book because I just don't want to stop reading! Buying the third book now!
Then I'll give my final review of this series!

This book had a little bit of everything. Romance, mystery, murder, fantasy, everything you could want in a story line. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Will definitely continue on with this series.

Exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat!

I loved this book! It got my interest from the very beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Ellen Archer did an excellent job bringing each of the characters to life and I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series!

Eerily facinating!

I loved listening to this book. I was caught up in the story right away and could feel the horror and fear the character in the story felt by the way the narrator read and related the events of the story. I got everything I expected from reading a "Ghost Story." I would recommend this book to anyone who appreciates a good ghost story.
