Historia
Hounded by the tabloid media, driven from his self-made sanctuary at Neverland, Michael Jackson spent his final years moving from city to city, living with his three children in virtual seclusion - a futile attempt to escape a world that wouldn’t leave him alone. During that time, two men served as the singer’s personal security team: Bill Whitfield, a former cop and veteran of the security profession, and Javon Beard, a brash, untested rookie, both single fathers themselves. Stationed at his side nearly 24/7, their job was to see and hear everything that transpired.

Very accurate and truthful stories. I could not stop listening because it was so well written
Revisado: 10-16-24
I loved the way this book was written. It was so well put together and edited. I was personal friends with Jackie Jackson and can confirm these stories to be accurate based on what I heard over the years from Michael Jackson’s family. I personally felt what the authors felt as I went to Michael Jackson, mom‘s house. I played with Prince’s chocolate lab and took Michael’s kids to Disneyland after Michael passed. In the final section of the book, I felt the same way the author did as I sat 15 rows from the stage at Michael’s memorial. I am so glad you two wrote this book. This is my favorite audio book.

Can we fix the Public Education system in America? Written by an educator with broad experience spanning nearly three decades, this new book suggests that it's already too late. Education’s ongoing failures are feeding on themselves, perpetuating the failed system.

This was an excellent book for anyone that wants to see the truth and current status of the American education system. I learned much more than I thought I would. I am a far more educated and better person after reading this book. I highly suggest reading this.

Historia
After stowing away as a boy to come to America around 1905, an Italian immigrant sculptor later stands firm in his love for an unfaithful woman. Trapped behind enemy lines during World War II, he and his family go on to save over 600 Allied troops. This is the epic multi-generational, true story of Salvatore Cartaino Scarpitta and family. His story was only partially told in a 1953 episode of This Is Your Life. Salvatore’s role in WWII is just one of the many stories found throughout this book.

Not only is this a book about family history, but it includes any life lessons, and great advice passed down through generations. Yes, the book as long but if you keep with that there are so many wonderful things to learn, and a lot of things you will think about in your own life. If you’re reading this and thinking about getting the book, definitely buy the book and stay with it. Once you finish it, you will be glad you did.
