Disappointed
Revisado: 05-24-21
Lack of decent mics, check. Inaudible mumbling, check. Lack of research, check!
I had high hopes, it was a topic I have always found interesting. Listening was a frustrating experience. They could not pronounce names correctly ( a Google search would have cleared that up). Their voices were at different volumes and they both would mumble at times. I made myself listen to a more recent episode to be sure it wasn't just beginner issues.
I was pretty shocked to learn they were adults. This podcast feels like a high schooler reading Wikipedia articles.

Historia
The 10 enlightening (and often humorous) lectures of Medieval Myths and Mysteries will show you how far from the “dark” times of legend these centuries were. Uncover the facts about the Knights Templar. Reveal the truth behind the tales of legendary creatures like the Questing Beast and the unicorn. Trace the events of the Black Death and the ways it altered the world in its wake, and much more. With Professor Armstrong, you will dig deep into the ways that later generations reshaped the narrative of the medieval years and perpetuated the myths.

Brilliant Author
Revisado: 04-14-21
Wonderful addition to Great Courses, Dorsey Armstrong is highly intelligent but relatable. They say there are two types of geniuses, ones that make you feel dumb and ones that make you feel smart as well. She is the latter. Only cons, she mentions Game of Thrones, which I am really getting tired of hearing about AND sometimes she sounds a little bit too much like an episode of Drunk History in her delivery. Those two cons do no detract from the 5 stars, those are just my pet peeves. If I had just one professor like her my first year of college I probably would not have quit.

Historia
Can he make her fall in love with him…again? When Pagan Moore proved worthy of Death's devotion, he was given the gift of getting to keep her. But Dank was never promised that Pagan would keep him. When a soul is created, so is its mate. In every lifetime those souls find each other. They complete the other's destiny. It's time for Pagan's soul to choose if she truly wants an eternity at Death's side or if she wants the mate created just for her. Dank didn't think he had to worry about her choice. He knew where her heart belonged.

OW It hurts! Make the pain stop!
Revisado: 04-13-21
Cringey, cliche plot with a subpar narration. Unbelievable characters, juvenile lyrics sung by one of the main characters, and plot holes makes this series unbearable. I really wanted to love it. I love sci fi/romance but this book is in the genre of disappointment.
Advice for a better world; Abbi Glines, please never write anything other than a DND game for your Saturday night group. Ashley Litz, please never do the vocal fry ever again AND never do male voices again.
