While listening, there were many times I wished I could have had the opportunity to sit across a small table from the author, sipping tea, exchanging hugs and tears as our hearts hurt by the rejection of those we love fiercely... The frustration of so many who do not understand and refuse to listen to warnings, both personal and political...

This book is powerful, personal, and informative. Bought hard copies for my people and putting some on Audible so they can listen.

One will never regret being brave, even in the face of death.
But the hallways of cowardice are painted with doubt, fear, and disgrace. I would rather die.

Naomi - I celebrate her courage, burning bridges to expose corruption and inspire others to stand in the face of great opposition, especially when it hurts.

Encouraging and inspiring. I laughed and cried and wondered at how God can take the broken pieces of a life and place them so purposefully - just finished and want to listen again.

This work should take the veil off those living with a herd mentality, both elephants and donkeys. POWERFUL! I started listening as it was free but had to purchase an audible copy and a hard copy. Well written. Informative. And it makes what we are living through in 2024 ring with great clarity. I've been recommending it to all I know who love America.

Wow. I had no idea!

An important part of history that I had never heard of, but authors have the receipts. Names. Dates, Places, Motives. Ships' names. And it makes so much of what I knew about American history now make sense.
It is disturbing, but something every American should read. It would provide unity and understanding and a determination that it does not happen again.

I could not put it down.
Ordered a hard copy. Now, things make more sense!

Megan's testimony at the end - the crown jewel which binds this piece together in such a way that those who are angry must consider... Her story is different from mine, but like hers, mine is hard. And this is why we want the Truth, undiluted.

Littered with expletives

After reading his accomplishments I sought for the first chance to listen through - I like to do so before referring a book to others. The excessive use of the "f word" was over the top - distracting from the story and disgusting. I didn't make it past chapter 3.

Powerful message, but one distinguished in language can make their point without the word cesspool. Extremely disappointed. I had hoped he would show more honor to his readers.

I understand only a thumbnail of the trauma as I was raped on a date when fifteen. But these -
This was a legal and emotional cliffhanger.
I knew the political/judicial/media... systems are broken, but this...
I just couldn't do the 4th of July today...
Thank God for those who refuse to give up, even when its frightening; inconvenient; costly in terms of time, finances, and commitment... Those who keep going when it would be easier to lay the cause down and move on.
But it was the right thing to do.
There is LIGHT in this present darkness.
