Love the Originals !!

Great Acting!

I normally hate it when an actor plays 2 parts, such as twins, for example. But this was different. I really enjoyed it and I though the actors did a great job differentiating between multiple characters. It kept me very interested throughout the whole thing, and it had a very satisfying conclusion. It's absolutely worth your time!

Infuriatingly Good

Both novels were well written and both seemed like they could have been talking about present day society. The commentary on how society is ruled was infuriatinly good. It was very depressing, as well. There is no way one person can have any impact on the machine that runs the world. It's a stacked deck we are playing against. The house wins every time.

Still a great book!

I liked this book as a child and I still like it very much as an adult! I found myself laughing out loud at some parts. It still had, unfortunately, a completely relevant narrative regarding the disparities and attitudes of racism, even though it was written some 60 years ago. It was easy to read/ listen to, and Sissy Spacek did an excellent job narrating with her genuine southern drawl.

Not bad!

Comical at times, but also depressing. The story of true and strong friendships with the difficulty of life getting in the way. Not bad ,and I enjoyed the Southern accents. I also thought it was really cool the pony library existed. I was pleasantly surprised women headed and ran the library. It was back when people actually cared about spreading literacy. Nice job, ladies!
