My review
I am told that there are eight more words required for my review. Now there are none. I wonder what the voice in your head sounds like reading my review and if the voice in your head is different than the one you use to talk with. I wonder if everyone’s head voice is just a little different or if anyone’s head voice is from another country or time. Please tell me so then I’ll know.

Gordon GORDON!
I’m writing this review as to say here I sit and am writing, the it being the review you see, don’t you see?! These words here, this word and now here this one, all coming along all working along to become this review. MY review and you dear reader have now become a part of it, the review. It’s a great one, a grand one in fact. Not the review but rather the book itself.

Real good short stories and excellent narration. Wish there was more quality like this on Audible. Highly recommended.

In “From The Streets of Shaolin” (Skiz) S.h. Fernando Jr. lays out the entire Wu-Tang Clan saga from the inside and it’s a real wild ride. I'm a die hard hip-hop head and long time Wu supporter and I learned a lot. I especially enjoyed getting to know more about the early years of the group and the inner dynamics. The in depth break down of each album brought new appreciation and insight to classics that I long cherished.

I have both the hard copy and the audio book. One critique of the audio is that while the audio book narrators voice (Clarke Peters) is nice in tone, any hip-hop fan will notice there are many major mispronunciations throughout and at times a very stilted delivery. This can distract for the great content of the book and for this reason its worth picking up a hard copy.

If you are in any way a fan of the Wu, pop culture or music in general you will enjoy what is in this book. In addition to compiling the most definitive chronicle of the Wu, author Skiz Fernando founded WordSound one of the most important experimental hip-hop record labels, shepherded Anthony Bourdain through Sri Lanka, has his own line of cook books and spices, and has been a pioneer of hip-hop journalism since the early dawn of the golden era. I highly recommend From The Streets of Shaolin or anything else this man is involved with.
