Can’t stand all the repetitive wine commercials. I try to avoid getting any books like that. But I love Sherlock and Watson

Historia
Robinson Crusoe is one of the most enduring adventures of the past four centuries and one of the most well-known works in the English language. Or is it? Recently discovered amidst the papers of the 20th-century writer and historian H. P. Lovecraft is what claims to be the true story of Robinson Crusoe. Taken from the castaway's own journals and memoirs, and fact-checked by Lovecraft himself, it is free from many of Defoe's edits and alterations. From Lovecraft's work a much smoother, simpler tale emerges - but also a far more disturbing one.

Why a lycanthrope ?
Revisado: 08-31-18
The lycanthrope was all but hidden in this story. The struggles of Robinson Crusoe were very good in of itself. Why he be of the lycanthrope curse if so little of the story dealt with it. It feels like the name Lycanthrope was tossed in title and here and there in the story as to obtain readers who like that sort on genre. Too bad. It could have been a much more interesting story for werewolf followers if it were stronger on that point. 4 stars for just the adventure of Robinson Crusoe. 1 Star for the lycanthrope part.
