I read this book a few months ago when I was going through a very stressful period in my life. I am prone to suffering from general anxiety and depression. I found that the suggestions proposed by the author often expressed through personal stories very relatable, thought-provoking, and helpful. The ideas and guidelines presented helped me develop daily habits and routines that improved my state of mind. However, I should have put more effort into continuing to practice these concepts on a regular basis.

Lately I feel I want to revisit the activities presented and rather than re-reading the book, I decided to listen to the audio version. I found this was an even more enriching experience. The narrator’s inflections and intonations helped me pick up on certain meanings and emotions I might have missed before. I also felt I was developing a “relationship” with the narrator and author on a more personal level making the book have even more impact.

I strongly recommend this book, especially the audible version if you want to make a positive change in your life and start living to the fullest in the present so that your future will be the best it can be.
