This woman doesn't sound like Rachel Morgan. She sounds like Velma from Scooby Doo. Not only that but she obviously never listened to the other books. She is saying to many words WRONG!!!

She sounds too clipped and uptight for Rachel. She would be good in another series and better if she had bothered to learn how to say the words and names like the previous 5 books.
I almost quit the series and still might.
even normal words she says wrong. bet-ah for a beta and a few others.
They need to redo this with the person who is better

Long winded and braggy

1/2 if it is this woman bragging about her life. it doesn't add to the story or give you an understanding of why she is an expert. It is just her going on and on about how great her life is and the cool things she has done. I to around ch 7-9 and gave up.
