Good story with an interesting ending
Revisado: 07-05-19
I liked the story and the character development. The ending was good but I would have liked to have learned more. It seemed a little front heavy with a lot of time spent on background and relatively insignificant things leaving only a small amount of time on the actual story at the end.
The narration was a little flat (sorry Ray) and I found myself drifting sometimes.
I have listened to a few of his books and always found them worthwhile, just maybe get a narrator next time.

Great story, excellent narration
Revisado: 11-07-17
I really enjoyed this book. There are similar stories about a virus and the end of the world but this was different enough to stand out.
The narrator and production was excellent, the little special effects were simple but very effective and the skill of the narrator was clear from the start.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series
Thanks

Historia
If you want to try a different sci-fi or you're tired of the same superheroes with the amazing weapons, then try a story about real aliens. How they live, love, and survive. They start as a naïve society that has everything, and when they ask a simple question, they are attacked and learn to defend themselves.

A really good story which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Check the sample first however as the narrator will not be everyone’s choice.

Historia
In an era of hardening religious attitudes and explosive religious violence, this book offers a welcome antidote. Richard Holloway retells the entire history of religion - from the dawn of religious belief to the 21st century - with deepest respect and a keen commitment to accuracy. Writing for those with faith and those without, and especially for young listeners, he encourages curiosity and tolerance, accentuates nuance and mystery and calmly restores a sense of the value of faith.

This was a good story, more of a romance than a horror story but a real page turner ( not sure of the correct audiobook phrase).
The narrator was very good and made it very easy to listen to, most of the time I forgot she was there which for a narrator is a compliment I think.
