Transparent and Transforming

I love the format of the book, I felt like I was sitting around the table with them listening and being a part of the conversation with my own healing journey. It was a transparent and transforming authentic look at how God's people - handle loss and disappointment and grief, God's way! It was uplifting, inspiring, and very reassuring - openly pointing us to God, as our ultimate comforter and the ultimate authority of our lives. A wonderful job, from a wonderful family.

the story was excellently weaved....takes you through lots of emotions stretches your imagination and your heart! you understood ever character and the story left you satisfied!!!!!
my biggest draw back was the use of ..."he aaid.." "she said..." or " __ said" it was overused to criminal proportions!!! do a search find and take the word said out!!!!!! and the read would be so much more professional!

Older or younger single or married mother are not widowed or not you will find yourself in the voices of these women it is an amazing story. You're drawn in from the very beginning and you walk alongside these women who collectively represent the heart of women everywhere. God has given woman kind such an amazing gift of loving and compassion and hope and strength and forgiveness - this book reminded me of that. It wasn't cheesy and flowery or feminine bashing are trite, no!! It was real, it was raw, it was truthfu, l it was a blessing! thank you for writing this book.

Not My favorite Kay Bratt book.

I’ve loved all of Kay Bratt’s book, this one was just not my favorite. It was too onesided about the mother that made the book drag on for me, it was like one long scene that you wished would just get moving. I liked the richness of her story telling in allllllllll of her other books but this one nothing other than the mother’s lamenting sticks...visually this book left my mind blank and i read to the end just because i had not finishing a book at the end i felt like i could have stopped in the middle and been ok. Sorry Mrs Bratt, but this one was just not my favorite of your books. : (

God has a message in it today for every reader. God said he would never leave or forsake us, and this is a glorious example of that truth. What the devil meant for evil - God used and still continues to use - for His glory!!! Great book!
