What a wonderfully made book for the King of Pop! It dives into his studio work track by track for ALL of his songs (even his lesser known appearances). You truly get to know that Michael wasn’t just an amazing performer but a true artist that wrote, produced, arranged and worked hard on his craft until he died. It has quotes from all of his collaborators including Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley and Rodney Jerkins. It paints the context of what was happening in his life at the time of the music creation without making it into a biography or tabloid trash. I highly recommend this for anyone that would like to know more about Michael the musical artist.

I absolutely loved this book. Being a long time Beach Boys fan I thought I had known all there was to know. This truly shows how important Mike is and was to their legacy and also shows what a kind and spiritual man he is. Lots of wonderful recollections from Mike as well as shocking moments. Highly recommend. The best book on the subject of the Beach Boys there is hands down.
