if nothing else, everybody needs to read this book. not the best starting point, a bit complex for the typical but anybody beyond the beginning stages will have some ugly feelings to deal with

Too many reviews get lost in the sport veneer and that's fine but that's just a medium to transfer the perspectives and partially how these ideas were developed.
Some of you reviewers desperately need counseling. Giving the book one star and some wounded ego take on the performance of the book when you admittedly didn't get beyond the third chapter is a bit much, no? How do you think so highly of your perspective to openly criticize something you couldn't finish? Is that not a bit myopic? Doesn't seem very neutral. Of course, folks are expected to be this way. This book is nerdy and the author is rightfully proud of himself and what differences he was able to accomplish but it's more or less a reference to say "this system works"; it truly improves lives.
Ehhh, if you want to understand something, you will find a way; everything else is excuses. It takes what it takes... so very on the nose it is hilarious. I'm very thankful for the unnecessary negative comments, it added a bit of humor and perspective to a book written by a man who lost his life to cancer. I'm more interested than ever. finished the book 5 times or so. I enjoyed it.

loved it. went through it twice on the same day. it's different than what the trend has been for self help/ discovery within books.

instead of turning you into an anal retentive monster to hyper schedule, the goal of this book is to get you to realize your purpose and add meaning to each action.
like, maybe it's only one meaning or perhaps very many. Keep the goal in view while you work on you and throughout the day.

I wish this were fiction because the writing wouldn't hurt so much in the gut... too many sordid details and events and to realize this stuff is already public knowledge...ffs
