So much missing
Revisado: 01-18-22
While following a story that is hard to believe so much of Laguna history and color of the 60’s was left to the imagination or the memories of a few lucky folks…a richer picture remains to be painted

Historia
The Vanity Fair Diaries is the story of an Englishwoman barely out of her twenties who arrives in New York City with a dream. Summoned from London in hopes that she can save Condé Nast's troubled new flagship Vanity Fair, Tina Brown is immediately plunged into the maelstrom of the competitive New York media world and the backstabbing rivalries at the court of the planet's slickest, most glamour-focused magazine company. She survives the politics, the intrigue, and the attempts to derail her by a simple stratagem.

Boring and painfully long...
Revisado: 01-13-18
The only thing worse than reading this book is listening to the author read it. Poor diction and enunciation just adds to the bad experience. No story of interest here but at the very least you would think an editor would know how to edit!
This book goes on and on about people and events described superficially who for the most part are not interesting and really don’t matter. Unless you are someone interested in NYC society life in the 80’s avoid Vanity Fair diaries.
Unimportant book about unimportant people whose names will be forgotten sooner than later.
