Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Grandpappy!
Revisado: 07-14-23
Holy Toledo I just read the most inventive, visceral story I’ve ever had the pleasure of retching at. This tale packs a lot of grotesqueries to be certain, but it also packs a lot of originality and ambition within the dripping, fetid walls of Grandpappy.
Read it for yourself and see what all the fuss is about PCH3 and why it’s totally deserved!
Highly recommended to those with a stout stomach and a penchant for humor as dark as an oil slick at midnight!

Let’s Give The Fans What They Want!
Revisado: 05-07-23
irst off, full disclosure. I am a huge Chandler Morrison fan, I have been since I got introduced to him by Jeff Burke after the Bizzaro-Con and Deadite fiasco over a rather spicy reading and reenactment of an especially repellent sequence in the deliciously depraved book Dead Inside ( You know the one )
Anyways, so it’s not going to be a shock that I give this a five star rating, I’ve gobbled up everything this transgressive genius has put out like a certain Doctor eats dead fetuses….I’m insatiable for his brand.
What we have inside the pages of this book are two stories. First is the splatter western that Chandler is desperately trying to get done for DHP.
It’s a dark story about a lot of things, but most importantly it’s about Los Angeles and the role it plays in the evil that men do. It’s filled to the brim with actual Human Shaped Fiends that rape, torture, kill, drink heavily and partake in drugs.
It’s about love and what it does to a person. It’s about the sheer senselessness of human nature and how black the hearts of men truly are. All in all a very enjoyable smorgasbord of guts, grue and tasty depravity of the highest order.
Now here’s where things get mighty interesting.
Interludes are peppered throughout of the “real Chandler” going through the motions of his vapid existence. We have our hero struggling to try and surpass what he feels he has become, the Dead Inside guy.
He is even mocked and belittled by the skeleton from the cover of the damned book telling him that is all he will ever be.
We read on and see that Chandler is stuck in this endless cycle of giving his fans ( all ten) what they want or expect from a new Chandler Morrison novel, AKA his brand.
The poor guy is pigeonholed and there isn’t a way to break from these literary restraints, self imposed or otherwise.
We follow him throughout as he has discussions with his friend and fellow writer and constant Twitter banterer Autumn Christian.
Follow him as he is mistaken for another writer friend and given a rather painful hand job, and basically wonders what all of this has to do with his western. It’s hysterical stuff in every way possible.
It’s a writer at the top of his game having fun at the audience’s expense and I love him for it! It’s like the AC/DC
Song, “ If You Want Blood, (You’ve Got It!) you also get rape, necrophilia, baby eating, incest, lots of smoking and all of the other Grand Guignol that we the fans love him for and his critics absolutely loathe.
It all ends in a very horrific way as only Chandler can do as he winks at us and says, “here’s what you came for, this is what you think I am!!!”
This is easily the most impressive Splatter Western book yet. I can’t recommend this any higher , if any of my incoherent babbling made any sense to you then run, don’t walk and buy this amazingly brash and scathingly hysterical transgressive masterpiece.
5 out of 5 partially eaten dead babies!

Historia
Three low-income families have been given a handsome retainer to join Geraldine Borden for a day at her cliffside estate. All the parents must do to collect the rest of their money is allow their children to test out the revolutionary playground equipment Geraldine has been working on for decades. But there’s a reason the structures in the bowels of her gothic castle have taken so long to develop—they were never meant to see the light of day.

Brutal and heartfelt horror
Revisado: 01-13-23
Wow, this book is a game changer for Aron Beauregard. I feel like it’s equally as important as his seminal release The Slob, if not a tad bit more so simply for the fact that it has had more “mainstream” success and appeal.
Don’t get it twisted though, this book is one mean motor scooter, and it will break your heart with how cruel it can be to our hapless set of children who have the harrowing tasks of trying to make it out alive of these ingeniously nefarious traps. Imagine an updated Saw without the lessons, and throw in kids and you’re on the right track.
To me though, what sets this apart from the pack is the books immense heart. I broke down crying throughout numerous passages. I truly cared for many of these children and quietly begged Aron in my head to let my favorite characters make it out of this hellish world intact. Did he listen? I can’t tell you that, but what do you think?
Before wrapping up I do need to touch base on Lila Kerry. Her narration is impeccable. She blasted onto my radar with the double whammy narration of The Slob and Son Of Slob and let me tell you, she doesn’t disappoint! You could hear all of the prep she put into this role. I was impressed throughout with her portrayal of the young boys, a make or break thing that she passed with flying colors. I believe I read that she trained on that especially.
This book is an essential read, not just for horror fans but for book readers in general. Mark my words, this book is going to shoot Aron into the stratosphere more than he already is.
Highly recommended!

A Bad Man.
Revisado: 05-22-22
Leave it to Kris to weave a story that’s right up my alley even though it’s a genre I don’t really delve into much(crime) it does have despicable characters and violence that would be welcome in a Splatterpunk story though.
The narration by Chuck Brugee was truly phenomenal as well.

Historia
Vera Harlow is a survivor. After a chance encounter led to her being held captive in a disgusting house of horrors, she fought tooth and nail to escape the clutches of a man known only as The Slob. But while she may have fled the disastrous situation, the details of her struggle are now carved into her flesh and soul. Vera’s son is the product of utter depravity. Harold, the sinister seed left by the man who took everything from her, continues to blossom in nauseating fashion. His features and habits are stomach-churning, vividly familiar, and becoming more disturbing by the day.

That’s Where The People Go…
Revisado: 05-15-22
This is easily some of the best narration I’ve heard in some time, Lila Kerry knocked it out of the proverbial park with The Slob, and continues the trend with its sequel.
As for the story itself, It veered drastically with how I pictured it would go. Very bleak, very downbeat, very Beauregard. Easily worth the audible credits to those who tend to delve into the darker side of horror fiction. Recommended!

An Extreme Horror fan’s dream
Revisado: 02-07-22
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Aron Beauregard is the savior of this sub-genre. I mean every single release just keeps eclipsing the previous title. He is growing with leaps and bounds and I’m just thankful he’s chosen to Wade in the filth when he could easily abandon his more extreme side.
The narration by Lila Kerry is out of this world. She becomes Vera in every conceivable way possible, knocking her performance out of the park with ease.
This is definitely worth your time and credit, just beware, this book has bite!
