What a way to start a story

This is only the second Vanessa Vale book I've read but this woman has hooked me! This time around she is giving us reverse age gap, forced proximity, one bed, hockey "bad" boy and small town girl and I couldn't get enough.

Lindy & Dex's story was steamy, funny, sweat and so frustrating! Lindy is looking for her toaster list man and she is striking out left and right, Dex is only focused on Lindy. When a freak accident leaves her temporarily homeless Dex rushes in to say the day by offering her a place to stay.. little does she know he only has one room furnished. The more time they spend together, the harder it is for Lindy to fight her feelings but she isn't looking for Rr. right now and she knows that eventually Dex will have to return home.

I loved seeing these two characters grow and realize that plans are never set in stone and that we aren't forced to live the life we thought we had to, I liked that Dex brought out the softer side of Lindy, that she was able to show her true self to him and that there was so much more to him too. I loved the way he supported her dreams and wanted to reassure her that he was the man for her.

I thought the narrator did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life. I thought she had great pacing and her voice was easy to listen to. She is slowly working her way up the list of my favorite narrators.

I highly recommend this audio if you are looking for a steamy, reverse age gap, rom-com.

Hearing it is better than reading it!

I wasn't sure if anyone in the hockey house would top my love for Greyson, but a run in the woods with Steele & his ghost face mask officially won me over!

I really enjoyed how layered the story was, this wasn't just a bully romance, there was a bit of a stalker scare, a random family member hanging out, a twisted family secret, plus two people coming to terms with their own dark desires .. all the things that just add up to a must read (in my opinion).

Teddy Hamilton & Desireé Ketchum do a fantastic job bringing Aspen & Steele to life. They not only nail the tension but they do justice to the banter that the author has written. There were multiple times I found myself smiling, or my jaw was dropping as a result of their performance. I seriously couldn't get enough of these two!

I would absolutely recommend this one to fellow bully romance lovers, just make sure to check for TW/CW's.

Loved this Steamy, Small Town, Rom-Com

I must have been living under a rock because I have never heard of this author until I stumbled across this audio book and let me tell you.. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. This book had be laughing so hard within the first few chapters and I kept giggling throughout.

Our girl Bridget meets a man at the local coffee shop one morning and ends up spilling coffee on him, thinking things couldn't get worse she finds out he's her billionaire boss that's flown in from out of town and her day keeps going from bad to worse and ends with her sending him her sex quiz answers that were actually meant for her best friend. Mav is immediately taken by this woman and wants to do anything to keep her, but being her boss is only one of the many hurdles he will have to overcome if he wants a shot at forever with Bridget. Not only is the steam spot on, the banter is enjoyable and there is a lovely cast of extra brothers, friends and an older sister that I'm just dying to see pair off.

Kylie does a fantastic job, like normal, bringing these characters to life! Her pacing and tone is as perfect for our grumpy, lumberjack sized billionaire as it is for our feisty, female lead.

Can’t get enough!

I’ve read and listened to this series so many times & I still can’t get enough! I love all the twists and turns that are included… I especially love how you never know who to fully trust or what might happen next. Lucy Rivers does an amazing job bringing the elite kings to life!

Excellent Bully Romance

I absolutely love this dark and twisty bully romance, but I will caution you to review content/trigger warnings prior to diving in. The narrators did a fantastic job being the warring Darling and Dolce families to life. The story had so many omg moments that I couldn’t put this one down.

So not ready to say goodbye to these characters

I can't believe we have to say goodbye to Kora, Wolfe, Jace & Apollo! This whole series was such a rollercoaster but I absolutely loved every minute of it! The narrators did a phenomenal job through out this whole series.

I loved that we finally got the answers to some long burning questions & I loved how the series ended. This definitely made up for all the hurt from the last book!

I highly recommend this series, just make sure to start with book 1.

This one hurt...... a lot!

I absolutely adore this series & these characters but I was not expecting this book to hurt so much. Tyler & Addison do an amazing job giving life to these characters & I honestly couldn't imagine better narrators for them.

The story picks up after a small time jump from book 2... which had left pretty much everyone in a bad spot and everything has changed in town. I won't go into the details because I don't want to risk spoilers but I will say the author did a fantastic job with the story itself. I did feel like this one started off a little slower than the previous two books, but I was also ready to get into the action & get everyone reunited... so I was just being impatient. Overall I enjoyed it but the ending was hard & that cliff hanger had my jaw on the ground.

I highly recommend this series but make sure to start with book 1 & have some tissues near by for this one.

New favorite hockey romance

I had already read the book prior to listening to this audiobook & yet I was still glued to my phone/headphones. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life! I seriously could not get enough of hearing Teddy deliver line after line of Grey's dialogue.

This is definitely in my top five books of the year & I can already tell there will be multiple re-reads/listens in the future. The plot has so many twists and turns, between Violet's possible st@lker, the intense relationship that is forming between Grey & Violet, plus their past... lets just say there really isn't a dull moment.

I highly recommend this book, just make sure to check the TW/CW's before starting.

Loved Roch & Truly’s Story

I already loved the book but hearing these narrators give voices to these characters made me love the story even more! This was the first time I’ve listened to Kit narrate a book & she slayed it! I’m not always a fan of women doing men’s voices but I loved even some of the guy characters she had to perform in her chapters. Tyler Darby did a good job bringing out Rich’s gruffness & overall it was an enjoyable listen.

The story itself was just what a dark romance lover wants to read. There’s action, smut, sweet moments & all the guys and gals we’ve come to love so far in the RBMC:Reno chapter. Roch is one of my favorite tortured hero’s & Truly really is the perfect match for him. She’s the light to his darkness, and the sweetness to his gruffness. The age gap & the fact that he’s her fathers best friend only adds to the forbidden aspect of their relationship.

I couldn’t turn this one off & I highly recommend it to other MC/Dark romance lovers out there.

Love this age gap mc romance

I loved the story when I read it but the narrators definitely give it a whole new life! Troy crushed it as Loki & Kelsey did a phenomenal job of voicing Birdie. I can already tell this will be listened to numerous times in the future
