Historia
He lost her to his enemies, but he will burn kingdoms to get her back. After the dragon prince steals Lira to make her his bride, Tavish, the ruthless Unseelie King, watches his world fall apart. His fated mate is gone, and now, his own people threaten rebellion. As if that wasn’t enough, the Seelie arrive, demanding the return of their daughter, further straining a fragile alliance. But Tavish doesn’t care about alliances or rebellion. He has one goal—keep Lira from the dragon prince. She belongs to him, bound by fate and blood, and no force in this realm will keep them apart.

It had a lot of potential, the bones of the story were interesting.

It felt like a mature book being wrote by someone young or in experienced in intimacy. There were a few plot holes that seemed forced or overly predictable. It was interesting, I wanted to finish the story but by the last book I was just over it. The repetitive language was distracting but minor annoyance. The person performing the male vocals made Tavish’s voice so annoying, it sounded like a fake voice with a weird slow way of speaking and fake accent. It was probably one of the most annoying things.
If given the chance I would not read it again.

Historia
When Runnel leaves his mountain valley to head for the great city of the water mages, he has no idea of his own magical talents. But he soon finds that without meaning to, he complicates and then endangers the lives of everyone he comes to know and care about. For when it comes to magic, there are rules and laws, and the untrained mage-to-be must be careful not to tap into deep forces and ancient enmities. Otherwise, other people might end up paying the price for his mistakes.

A good short story
Revisado: 12-29-21
It’s a nice story for a road trip. Not too serious or over dramatic though there are some darker notes of abuse seen through a child’s eyes so the emotional impact isn’t really there. Not stretched out or long winded. The narrating was good as well.
