An Emotional and Powerfully Weitten Story
Revisado: 01-13-25
I loved this book. From the funny moments that made me laugh out loud, to the poignant emotional scenes that had me crying in my car. It was well written and the storyline was not too slow moving as to lose interest, but not too fast so as not to hinder the growth of the characters.

Historia
For weeks, we retraced our steps back to Mistfell and the lingering shadow of the Veil at the boundary between realms. Traveling through the kingdom, I denied the evidence in front of me, unable to fathom that I wasn’t the lost princess of Faerie. Instead, it is Fallon who must fear the consequences of her heritage. Which leaves me with a single, unanswered question. Then, I awoke, caged high above the throne of the Queen of Air & Darkness.

I've never hated a character more
Revisado: 05-24-23
I only finished this book because I paid for it, and I loathe wasting money. Estrella is the worst written female "heroine" I've ever read. She is a weak, selfish, bratty, entitled child who the reader is supposed to believe is the savior of the story. Every time she was faced with even the most trivial of decisions, she waffles and then whines and moves about it, regardless of what she chooses. Don't even get me started on how the author just squeezes in other mythological pantheons without one acknowledging it. Valhalla,Tartarus, Helheim... none of these relate to the Fae...Alfheimr is the home of the Norse elves... all while completely dismissing most of Fae lore outside of Mab herself. I can honestly say that in the 36 years since I learned how to read, I've never been so completely turned off by a book. I only gave it 2 stars overall because the narrators were excellent. Articulate and with a perfect inflection of emotion.

Historia
Even as a girl Morgan has always been wild, like the seas which batter the cliffs beneath her home, Tintagel Castle. But she has always been safe, too. Then one day her father is called away to a war from which he does not return. In his place comes the High King, Uther Pendragon, with the sorcerer Merlin lurking in his wake. Uther claims Morgan’s mother, the Lady Igraine as his queen.

Perfectly Well Written Story of Morgan
Revisado: 11-12-22
I loved it! it was incredibly well written and beautifully performed. Getting to hear what I truly imagine as Morgan's side of the story was amazing. I only wish there was another, where we get to see how she got to be Morgan le Fay.

Historia
When you take the time to plan something with your own hands, it lands holiness to the dinner. It will make you want to spend time savoring it with your family as opposed to merely snarfing it down on your way out the door to soccer practice. Viewing nourishment this way, its preparation, and its utilization, you can make some practical enchantment at its simplest level.

Narrator not great
Revisado: 01-28-21
I love the content of the book. However, the narrator made it nearly impossible to listen to. She seems to be very unfamiliar with the content, and mispronounced several words and phrases in the text. It was a very wooden performance, with little to no inflection in her voice at all. I can't honestly say I would listen to this narrator again. Is there no proofreading?
