Historia
A serial rapist is kidnapping teenage girls. But he’s not interested in just any teenage girls - only virgins. He hunts them by following their status updates and check-ins on social media. Once captured, they’re locked away in his sound-proof basement until they’re groomed and ready. He throws them away like pieces of trash after he’s stolen their innocence. Nobody escapes alive. Until Ella. She risks it all to escape, setting herself and the other girls free. Only the girl who's been captive the longest gets out with her. And soon Ella discovers her nightmare's far from over.

The storyline was great right from the beginning it I didn’t care for one of the narrators.

Keep going …
Revisado: 02-14-24
There was a point in this audiobook that I was ready to give up because I wasn’t super engaged in the story. If you’re feeling that way, definitely definitely keep going. It gets so good and it was totally worth finishing.

Book 3 - amazing!!!
Revisado: 11-16-23
It’s not often that you get to the third book in a series and you love it just as much as you loved number one and number two. The Saint James saga was absolutely amazing from beginning to end.
This book followed Brett as a young man, and you got some insight into who he was as well as a little more insight to Cameron St. James.
I don’t know if there are plans for a book 4, but I would be the first one in line to read it!

What a cliff hanger …
Revisado: 10-21-23
OMG this is the second book in The St. James Saga and it did NOT disappoint. This book had me rooting for the bad guy. What has this author turned me into ?!?! LOL
It picked up right where book 1 left us and had me intrigued and engaged from the first chapter.
And the cliff hanger at the end? OMG I cannot WAIT to start book 3. However, then it means it will be over and whatever will I do then? Haha
This author is absolutely worth the read. If you’re interested in trying a new author … she’s the one!!

Very much left me wanting to read more!
Revisado: 09-24-23
This book was great. It got me engaged right from the start. There were several twists, some I saw coming but some I did not. I love when a book has me talking out loud to myself trying to figure things out, and saying, “no way”. LOL. And that ending...FANTASTIC and unexpected.
I cannot wait to see what book 2 has in store for me.
If you have not read this book make sure it’s on your list to read (listen to).
The narrator has a nice, calming voice, but also expression that matches the characters.
5 stars from Arizona!!

Amazingly twisty!!
Revisado: 09-17-23
This is the first time I have read a book by this author, but it will not be the last time.
This book was so good right from the very start. It captivated me. It was twisty and psychologically scarring and so good. At different times I thought I may have figured out where the plot was going but I was completely wrong.
I will definitely continue to read this author!

Story was GREAT. Narrator was AWFUL
Revisado: 06-17-23
This was another amazing McFadden book. The story goes back and forth between now and 26 years ago.
Several times I thought I had it figured out but boy oh boy was I wrong.
If you can read it and skip the narrator you’d probably be happier.

I can't believe the negative reviews?!!?
Revisado: 05-19-23
I can't believe how many negative reviews there are for this book. I thought it was really good and I couldn't wait to keep listening to it. I listen to and from work and I couldn't wait to get in the car. I thought I had things figured out a couple of times, and in some respects I did. But other things had me saying, "Oh wow". And the epilog - that was great too.
I have read other McFadden books and this one rates right up at the top.
I'll be looking for my next one and hoping it's as good...or better!

OMG - so good!!!
Revisado: 12-15-22
I just discovered this author and this is my second book. It was AMAZING! You can read the summary to know what it's about. It flashes between present day and 11 years ago and there were several times when I thought I knew what was going on. And them BAM, the story changes direction and I thought I knew again. And them BAM! At one point I literally exclaimed out loud in the car - OH MY GOD!
I cannot wait to listen to another one from Frieda McFadden!!
