Historia
No one knows where the Tufa came from or how they ended up in the mountains of east Tennessee. When the first Europeans came to the Smoky Mountains, the Tufa were already there. Dark-haired and enigmatic, they live quietly in the hills and valleys of Cloud County, their origins lost to history. But there are clues in their music, hidden in the songs they have passed down for generations.

a quick listen but interesting

It was good but short. The reader had a good voice for the character. Will check out book 2 soon.

Historia
The corrupt and powerful PsiCorps is determined to usurp the Hunters as chief defenders of Apex City, and Joy is now squarely in their crosshairs. Unused to playing political games, she has very few people she can truly trust - not even Josh, her first friend in Apex City, who broke up with her when it became too dangerous for a Psimon to be dating a Hunter. Then Josh comes to Joy for help. He fears that Abigail Drift, the head of PsiCorps, will soon use him in her twisted experiments designed to empower PsiCorps and render Hunters superfluous.

a lot to reveal and wrap up but a good read
Revisado: 11-12-20
A decent if sudden climax to the series. Obviously left room for more tales to come but resolved Joy's growing into her hunter self.

still a delightful tale
Revisado: 10-14-20
first read this book over a decade ago as I was first stumbling through the worlds of fantasy. When I saw this book was a possible title for this months credits I decided to give it a listen for old times sake. It was as good as I remembered and the narrator was quite enjoyable. Talia has a new voice in my head when I think of her now. I recommend this ESPECIALLY to fans of Lackey.

World changer for Dresden Books & a wild ride.
Revisado: 10-10-20
If the last book was lil more than setup this book brings enough drastic action and world changes for both. If you love Dresden this is an emotional rollercoaster well worth the years of waiting.

Historia
No evildoers have tried to flatten Peter Parker in weeks. His marriage to Mary Jane is stronger than ever, and he's enjoying his job as a high-school science teacher. Life is good. Naturally, that doesn't last. When Peter learns that his old enemy, the Rhino, is on a rampage in Times Square, he suits up as Spider-Man to stop the destructive villain in his tracks. But he's unexpectedly foiled in his attempts by the Black Cat, a former ally and old flame. The Cat informs Peter that the Rhino is just a distraction - the real threat comes from a group of Ancients.

Butcher produces a prime slice of Spider
Revisado: 08-16-20
Butcher's take on Spidey was enjoyable and the narrator was a good voice fit for Peter. Maybe not as much webspinning action as I might desire, but a great look at what goes on inside Spidey's thoughts. I would recommend this to Jim Butcher fans and Spidey fans alike.
