Jumped the shark

I really enjoyed this series when it started but it has gone too far in its attempt to be funny. It is not and has too many crazy weird unlikable characters and made up situations to work. At the end of the book it seems like the author ran out of ideas and had a random character show up to help the protagonists and save the day. The book is just full of idiots. The characters are so dumb it is hard to believe they are able to get anywhere or do anything.

Great book horrible production

I really loved the content of this book. I have enjoyed the narrator in the 10 previous books. He would have been great but obviously this has never been edited. The narrator constantly repeated sentences or words. This was obviously a track he expected some engineers to go thru and fix up. Very disappointing and annoying. I am in fact angry. I expected better from audible.

A tad violent and dark but aside from that…

The book was a little dark but quite listenable Not really my taste. Not sure what the remaining characters motivations were, which makes them seem mostly crazy.

Good book but not a comedy

This book was listed under humorous in the fantasy section. It is a very good book but not a comedy. It an get pretty intense in places. Expectations are important. That being said I did enjoy it.

Loved this the first time

I really loved this series when I read it the first time. It is worth listening to a second time. And this format was interesting to try out but (and a really big but), it is not worth spending 3 credits for this title when you can get the original with great narration by Todd mcLaren for only one. I have listened to all 3 of these and actually think I prefer the original.. I gave these top reviews but only cause I really love these books.

I really enjoyed this sequel. I had enjoyed the first one and was looking forward to it. I was not disappointed. The book is worth reading for all the villains’ names alone. Hilarious

Loved Loved Loved

I loved this book and this entire series (aside from the spider prequel). If this is the last one, and it seems like it might be it makes me very sad. I can’t recommend these books enough.
